Yesterday was a day straight out of a fairy tale for our family. The princess, my now daughter in law, Nicole, married my handsome son Logan. I think all that planning came together to give them a great send off into their married life. We could not be happier.
Having raised only boys, and being quite outnumbered, I have been asked many times over the years if I wanted girls. I guess I always felt the Lord gave me boys for a reason. I'm not a particularly "girlie" girl, and I gotta tell you boys are a total kick in the pants. I've loved every minute with my boys. I wouldn't trade them for anything. So when asked if I wanted girls I have always responded with "the girls will come". Now in just a short 3 months our family has added two beautiful daughters. ..Nicole and BreAnna. Not to mention they were hand picked by 2 of my favorite people. ❤️❤️
We would like to send out a huge thank you to all who helped make this day so special and came to celebrate with us. We are feeling so blessed!

We are getting ready for the 2nd wedding in 3 months here. As mom and dad of groom, we are doing some of the wedding prep. This decor turned out very fun. 💐 We are so excited for this sweet young couple!

Any Practical Magic fans out there? This is our other Halloween/fallish new goat milk soap we have named "Midnight Margaritas". The scent is AMAZING....margaritas and lime. And just like the rims of the glasses it's topped with sea salt. This is going to be a limited time offering as well, when it's gone, it's gone.
And I can't discuss this movie without the iconic line:
"Always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder. Keep rosemary by your garden gate. Plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can."✨️

This is our "Harvest Moon" goat's milk soap. It took a couple times to get this right. I'm much happier with the 2nd attempt on this one. The scent is cool as well. It has scents of fresh green leaves, crisp pear and undertones of sandlewood and just a wisp of smoke. This will be a limited time offering. It's on the curing racks so it will be a bit before it's wrapped and ready to go.

A peek at one of our newest creations!!! "Soapus Pocus" is just fun! As usually it features goat milk and the usual suspects as ingredients. It's scented with an orange spicy mix with undertones of bonfire......the perfect spooky mix! Tops are decorated with tiny potion bottles, witches hats and shoes and pumpkins. It's a limited time offering and will be ready to go for Halloween spookiness!🎃

We have been catching up on soap making and wanted to give you a peek. This is our "Dirty Hippie" soap, which is just a fun spin on our goat milk soap. In addition to the usual ingredients this one features what else but H**p seed oil. Because you can't do a dirty hippie soap without h**p, right?!
H**p makes many of us think of "the devil's lettuce...Mary Jane...Hippie Hay...wacky tobacky".....that's right, it conjures up images of it's cannabis cousin. H**p however IS NOT the same. They are variations of the cannabis plant, but H**p is the legal version, it does NOT give a high and it is used for things like textiles, biofuel and skin care.
H**p is basically a skin superfood. It is rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. It hydrates skin without clogging pores. It can also be very soothing and calm irritated skin, and is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants that support healthy skin.
"Dirty Hippie" has a Patchouli blend scent, a smidge different than just plain Patchouli. This is one we make in a smaller batch, but it usually goes fast!

Tell me you're a crazy goat lady without telling me......🤣
Those who know us know that 2 of our sons decided this is the year to marry. Both asked us to make goat milk soap for them to use as wedding favors. This is round 2 of that mission. Thankfully neither were super fussy, just asked we use wedding colors and be creative.
Nicole, our soon to be daughter in law, asked that we use "fallish" scents etc.....so wish granted!🪄 Hopefully guests enjoy them as much as I did making them ❤️

It's officially "soup season" here. We eat a lot of soup, utilizing our crock pot. It's so easy to throw together and usually leaves left overs, which our family is happy to eat. That equals less cooking for me....so huge win! This was a "corn chowder", which i haven't made before. I will say this one was delish! I don't really measure but can put the basic ingredients in the comments if anyone wants to give it a whirl. ;)

In an attempt to catch up our website, we took some pictures of doelings we are retaining this year. These are not posed, not fussed with and set up or clipped.... Just them being them lil selves. :) We certainly think they are quite nice and look forward to seeing them mature.

To say I'm ExCiTeD about this is an understatement! Our sweet friends, the Gary-Jill Deskiewicz family, showed a buck from our herd today at the Autumn Romance Buck Show in Sedalia Missouri. This flashy fella, "3 Kids Farm No Diggity" won his class, placing first out of 16 bucks. He then went on to win Jr Champion buck! Opal Joy was at the lead, and did such a wonderful job presenting him. Way to go!!!
