Hi! I’m Meghan and this is Bobby. I got Bobby in July of 2023, and we have been working together for 8 months now!
Having Bobby has absolutely changed my life in a positive way. Bobby is a psychiatric service dog, and has helped me become so much more confident and capable of managing new
situations and everyday life as a college student. Having a service dog is a lot of work: reinforcing training, fielding questions and comments from mostly well intentioned people, and lots of brushing :). However, Bobby is absolutely my hero and my best friend, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without him!

This case study shows that recipients of a trained seizure alert dog will have a decrease in the frequency of seizure activity. So not only will the dog assist by alerting or responding to seizures, but the recipient most often will have less seizures as well.
