So damn proud of our friend ! 👏🏽

We met Kurt over 4 years ago at Cornell H3mp Field Day when this was all just a dream and thoughts on paper. Everything seemed so much lighter back then and little did we know how actually insane this industry would be. Through all the trials and tribulations, Kurt never gave up and was awarded the 1st microbusiness license in the state and we finally got to stop in his retail shop he opened earlier this summer! A veteran, an amazing human, a trustworthy friend and guy that would give you the shirt off his back - we're so stoked to know there are people like him representing the plant and the people of this industry 💙 It has all been far from easy (and still is) but we are so proud of you dude! If you are anywhere near the Canandaigua area, you must stop in and support all the love and craft that goes into his products. For those that don't know - a microbusiess is the only license that can go from seed to sale so think of it as a craft micro brewery and farm to table where they grow with passion all the products they have in their store.

We also had a great time Harvest Fest 🙌🏽 So great to see the community come together. Thanks .city!

While we all love this plant and what it represents, a dark side of this industry is the amount waste it creates, especially single use plastic. Not just in NY, but everywhere. This is largely due to regulations we have to follow in regards to packaging.

Less than 10% of all plastics ever produced have been recycled. Since it cannot be indefinitely "recycled", it never becomes circular, and instead it endlessly pollutes the planet. The real solution to the plastic pollution crisis is to stop producing plastics and scale up reusable and regenerative materials so that people aren't forced to use plastics.

Many recycling facilities are unable to recycle most of the plastics that are used in packaging (especially mylar bags) so therefore, they go to the landfill. Hence the reason why less than 10% of plastic ever made is recycled. We decided to go with .co for our gummies and pre roll tubes.

It's designed with end of life scenarios in mind to be as environmentally responsible as possible.

❄️ Please remove the label before composting or discarding. We're still on the lookout for reliable label that is home compostable and meets durability requirements.

We're not bashing anyone who chooses to use plastic, but we decided what kind of difference we want to make and we will continue to do our best to stand by what we believe in. It's impossible to be perfect. Regulations, tarrifs, taxes, it all makes it very difficult, but how much is the earth worth?

The One the Only just celebrated another year on earth! She is the captain of this ship. We would be lost without her navigation just spinning in circles. She keeps us organized, on task, and doesn't let us get ahead of ourselves. She is always hustling and working her butt off sometimes making the rest of us seem like we're moving in slow motion. She is the rock, the reason, and the light that keeps us going. Somehow She still finds time to be a friend, lend a hand or give advice, putting everyone else first and herself last. There would be no snowbelt without her and we are greatful for her ability to adapt, learn and overcome any obstacles. We are so lucky to have her and this post cannot justify the full appreciation we have for her. #1

A long overdue gratitude post for our friends The Releaf Market LLC 💙

The whole reason we were able to get our first 2 Snowbelt products to market this year was because of Kerry and Todd of . We applied for 3 licenses in 2023 and got 2 out of the 3 (Processing & Distribution). Cultivation was at the core of what we wanted to do and we had to pivot our plans without it. What at first was a huge disappointment has turned into an opportunity to find more ways to work together. We're both teams of 2 which is incredibly stressful and overwhelming. Our mission is to work with small farmers and micros and help each other get get to market and Kerry and Todd stepped up to help us get to market and we're so grateful for them! They are long time c@nnabis advocates and growers and it shows in their products 🔥 so much love and care goes into what they do. In a world that wants to seperate us and call each other competition, we choose to support each other to lift all boats with the tide. Kerry and Todd are always there to help and advocate and we're proud to call them our friends. We wouldn't be here without them and we're super excited about this year's harvest! Please give them a follow and support them too 🙌🏽

This whole industry (and all of agriculture) lies on the backbones of the farmers and it's especially difficult for the small farmers to compete with large corporations and MSOs with huge financial backings. Same goes for us small processors. We are doing everything by hand- no fancy machinery, no automation- just putting all our care and attention into each product we make like the small farmers who focus on quality over quantity. Long before this industry, we supported and worked with small, local and regional farmers who are also trying to make the world a better place and we're stoked to bring our same passion and energy into this industry.

So excited to see a micro business in Ellicottville! A micro business is the only canna license that is allowed to go from seed to sale. It's that small farm love that goes straight to table! So the products you find in this dispensary are grown only miles away and thoughtfully curated to their own shelves. Another licensee who has struggled to get through this regulatory process to get to where they are so we are so happy for them to finally be able to open up shop 💙

They're in the old Bike n Bean location!
