By integrating CT imaging into our diagnostic protocols, we achieve greater precision in treatment planning and ensure our patients receive the top-tier care we aim for. 🐾💡🧡🐇 We performed this computed tomography (CT) scan on a rabbit patient, the advanced imaging and cross‑sectional views of internal structures, allowed us to evaluate bone integrity, soft tissue density, and detect subtle pathological changes that may not be visible on standard radiographs.
In small mammals CT scans are particularly valuable for:

✅️ Cranial and dental assessment: Identifying malocclusion, abscesses, or osteolysis.

✅️ Thoracic evaluation: Detecting pulmonary lesions or mediastinal masses.

✅️ Abdominal diagnostics: Assessing organ morphology and neoplasia.

🐾 Getting to Know Cane Corsos:

🐾 Ancient Italian mastiff breed, once used as Roman war dogs and guardians.

🐾 Temperament: Known for their deep loyalty and affection toward their families. They’re protective companions; natural guardians, always alert and watchful, making them excellent protectors. And they are smart and strong; intelligent and powerful, they thrive with consistent training and plenty of exercise.

🐾 Lifestyle: High‑energy dogs who thrive with daily exercise, mental stimulation, and experienced owners.

🐾 Healthy living: Regular vet visits help them stay strong and prevent common issues like hip dysplasia or bloat.
