There are no words to express how much we miss you. You are missed beyond measure and thought about every single day. We wish more than anything that we could celebrate your birthday with you, hear your laugh, and feel your presence with us.

Your love, kindness, and compassion touched so many lives, and the impact you made will never be forgotten. Your legacy lives on through the Brooke Davis Angel Fund and in the hearts of everyone who knew you, loved you, and continues to carry a piece of you with them.

🐾 "They may not wear capes, but they save lives one paw at a time"
As Vet Tech week comes to an end, we are celebrating our lead technician, Sydney! Our fun-loving, SpongeBob quoting, witty girl 💜

You only encounter a heart like hers once in a lifetime and she sure knows how to use it to improve all of the lives around her. She is an incredible leader, strong and full of compassion and knowledge!

Sydney has a very special family including her husband, sweet baby girl and a variety pack of fur babies at home! (We don't usually discuss favorites, but *cough* Louie the frenchie *cough* may be it 😅) She is also the best auntie!

Sydney makes our clinic better in all of the right ways and we are so grateful she is a huge part of our family. We love you Squid!!

Vet Tech Appreciation Spotlight: Brittany! 💙

Brittany may be our Personnel Manager now, but she will ALWAYS be one of our honorary vet techs! She’s someone we love, look up to, and aspire to be. Her patience, compassion, and ability to empathize with everyone around her make her such a special part of our team.

Outside of work, Brittany loves spending time with her son, her husband, and all her animals, especially her golden boy, Luke! 🐕

She wears so many hats, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without her. Brittany, thank you for everything you do for our team, our patients, and our clients. We are so lucky to have you, and we love you more than you know! 💕🐾

🐾 DOUBLE THE TECHS, DOUBLE THE APPRECIATION! 🐾

We’re celebrating Gabby and Ashley for Vet Tech Appreciation Week! 💕

Gabby is a hardworking, tech-savvy multitasker who is always ready to lend a hand! She’s cross-trained in reception and on the veterinary technician side, making her a valuable and helpful part of our team. When she’s not busy helping us care for our patients, she’s loving on her Siamese kitties and her sweet Sheba Mochi! 🐱🐕

Ashley is spunky, a fast learner, and always eager to jump in and help wherever she’s needed. She’s cross-trained in reception and on the veterinary technician side, and her willingness to learn makes her such a great addition to our team! Outside of work, she loves spending time with her chunky kitties! 🐈🐾

We’re so lucky to have these two ladies working hard, learning, and helping us take the best care of our patients and their people. Thank you, Gabby and Ashley, for everything you do! 💜

Next up for Vet Tech Week: Valerie, our quick-witted queen of chaos! 🐾❤️

Valerie is a quick learner with an infectious laugh and a witty personality that keeps us all entertained! She loves her tuxedo cats, her dog Gage, and catching live bands whenever she gets the chance.

She brings plenty of laughs, a whole lot of personality, and so much heart to our clinic. We’re lucky to have her on our team, and we love her to pieces! Happy Vet Tech Week, Valerie! 😊

🐾 October Pet Share: A Little Extra Love 💜

Dr. Davis had the sweetest way of telling pet parents their baby was carrying a few extra pounds:

“They just have a few extra love handles.” 😂💜

Those love handles may be cute, but extra weight can put added stress on joints, mobility and overall health.

🐾 Can you easily feel your pet’s ribs?
🐾 Can you see a waist from above?
🐾 Does their belly tuck up from the side?

Not sure? Ask your veterinary team about your pet’s Body Condition Score at their next visit.

A healthy weight = a healthier, happier pet. 💜🐾
