🐾 We had an amazing and educational day with our future animal care professionals! Our hands-on experience participants did a fantastic job learning about veterinary medicine, animal care, and the important roles of veterinary assistants, kennel technicians, and boarding staff. From caring for pets to seeing what happens behind the scenes in a veterinary hospital and boarding facility, the kids gained valuable real-world experience and had so much fun along the way!

At the end of the session, each child received a certificate to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments. 🎓🐶🐱

Not every veterinary procedure is easy to watch, but every one is performed with a patient’s comfort and well-being in mind. ❤️🐔🦃

Meet Popeye the turkey and Foxy Loxy the chicken. Popeye came to us with a painful abscess beneath his eye, which we carefully drained to help relieve discomfort and start the healing process. Today, Foxy Loxy is undergoing a toe amputation due to severe bumblefoot and infection.

These cases remind us that veterinary medicine isn’t always glamorous, but helping animals heal makes it all worthwhile. Wishing both of these feathered friends a smooth recovery! 💙
