Demo dogs play such an important role in our training programs.

They give the dog in training a safe, steady example to work around. They help us practice real-life skills like walking past another dog, holding place while another dog moves, staying focused near distractions, and learning how to make better choices without becoming overwhelmed.

A good demo dog helps create controlled training moments that build confidence, indirect socialization, and clear understanding.

PS neutrality is one of the most underrated skills a dog can learn!!

This older rescue pup has come a long ways. From living in a hoarding situation where she never heard a command in her life to now being calm on a leash. And can you believe it, that she has more to learn, stay tuned!

Our b&t programs really can give your dog the reset they need 🌟

Because of the incredible support our clients and community have shown us, Companion Canine Dog Training has continued to grow.

With that growth has come a new facility, a new website, upgraded equipment, and soon-to-drop improved scheduling software, all to help us provide a better experience for both dogs and their owners.

Our prices will officially be changing this fall, and we wanted to give you plenty of notice because we appreciate how supportive you’ve been.

If you’ve been thinking about training, this summer is the best time to get started and lock in our current pricing before rates increase.

Thank you for continuing to support us, trust us with your dogs, and grow with us.

Training doesn’t always have to be serious!

For dogs who enjoy other dogs, proper play with a familiar dog friend or another dog in the household can be an important part of their life too.

Play can help puppies and younger, goofier dogs learn body awareness, impulse control, boundaries, and appropriate social etiquette.

But not every dog loves play and not every dog even enjoys other dogs. That’s okay too.

The goal is not to force every dog to be “friendly.” The goal is to help dogs make better choices, learn respectful interactions, and understand when it’s time to play, pause, or walk away.
