A important reminder from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office!

Please remember today and everyday to not leave your pets in your vehicle when you’re not with them. Yesterday we received reports of animals locked in parked vehicles with no air at all for them- if you see this occurring call 9–1-1!

It’s going to be HOT 🥵 the next few days. PLEASE be aware of the signs of heatstroke in your pets. They should only be out for a few minutes for potty breaks and back in the A/C -kitties too!
The payment will cause burns to paws so be careful. If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot to walk and definitely DO NOT leave your pet in the car for any reason!!

Please be safe out there today with this heat! DO NOT take your pets for long walks or leave your pets outside! They should be out to potty and back indoors!
Take care if yourselves and check on your elderly neighbors too!!
