Lyric, Raya, Savvi & Presley earned their AKC Temperament Titles yesterday 🥰

After seeing a Facebook post at 10:00 last night🫣, we decided to load our vehicles up while the sun was coming up this morning to do something a little different, and really, just enjoy the day with some of the dogs. We braved it and took a crew of 8. Topping the list of accomplishments were Archer & Omen. Both earned their AKC Temperament Titles as well as their AKC Farm Dog Certifications. It was our first experience taking dogs through the Farm Dog test and they both really enjoyed it. They are such easy going boys. We truly couldn’t ask for better than ours🥰 Tomorrow we will post the girls accomplishments. It was a ton of fun and we are tired. 🤣Huge thank you to everyone that works so hard, allowing our area these fun little opportunities. We love that our dogs can enjoy themselves and try new things all summer long.

🎉🎉 Congratulations Lyric & Raya! 🎉🎉

This week was so needed. We came into it super nervous as not just 1 “L litter” sister was going in for WUSV hips/elbows, but 2! We knew there was a very real chance we may not walk out with both girls in our program. We raise large breed, higher energy dogs, and no matter how many genetic tests we put them through to prepare future generations, so much of it is how well of a job we did at controlling their environment and protecting their joints those first years….And they’re clutzy and a little brainless sometimes, and that doesn’t always help us 😅 It was hopefully for nothing. We are ECSTATIC to report, both girls had great looking X-rays and Dr Siegel expects to see them both pass without issue. We look forward to a busy summer of earning titles and hitting a few show rings with them.

Asha, the spicy pepper in the first picture, was the girl who convinced us we needed our long coat line. 🐾Asha🐾 She’s looking much more gray these days, but we continue to enjoy our time with her as she hasn’t slowed down a whole lot in her retirement. 🥰 We will forever be incredibly grateful for all that she has blessed us with.

Happy Birthday to our “C litter” today!!! Still one of the driviest litters to ever exist 🤣 This beautiful girl was deemed “Chaos” and was sent to New York to one of my favorite humans. I love seeing her updates. Share your “C litter” Birthday babies’! I hope you are all spoiled today.

In honor of 420 today, we decided to take the legal route at Isthmus and chose the good stuff. Sedation. Raya was an absolute hoot, and Lyric just stared off into the black abyss. 🤣😂 They were flyin high the rest of the day. After a good night of sleep, they’ll come back and post their hip & elbow results in the morning 😅

A few of our young studs acting as though it’s sunny and 75 already 😂🤣 We have water loving dogs over here. While our yard was absolutely destroyed by last weeks ice storm, it sure gives us a great excuse to bond with the dogs out by the lake.
