So many trees down. These are just some of the parts we could see at the beginning of trails. Getting winter pasture back is our top priority.
Unfortunately, this is a logging operation at the moment, but as soon as we can safely allow we will have a trail blazing day for volunteers to help clear trails!
Lessons are on and we've got a couple of trails cleared to beat the heat. Please text Ms Leslie as phone service is still spotty. Stay safe out there, best barn family ever!

Our Story

Scotsgrove Stables was established in October of 1992 and has grown to nearly 400 acres. It is part working farm and part nature preserve. In 2007 Scotsgrove was placed into a conservation easement to preserve the land for future generations to enjoy. The barn has a capacity of 17 stalls that are 12ft x 12ft. The riding facilities include a 150ft x 250ft sand ring, in which a small dressage arena is usually set up as well as stadium jumps.

On the miles of trails surrounding the barn and ring there are cross country jumps, stream crossings, and ponds. These trails are accessible without the necessity of trailering or riding very far on roads. On trail rides seeing wildlife such as deer, wild turkey, fox, rabbit, and other animals is a common occurrence. Turnout is in either one of the 6 larger pastures or one of the 6 smaller paddocks close to the barn.
