Formally introducing Miss Della, just in time for Puppy Friday!

Della is a 13 week old Aussie mix who came to rescue because she was shy and unsocialized, and her people didn't want to wait until it was "too late" to make sure she got the rehabilitation she needed. We immediately brought her into foster care and started teaching her that not all strangers are mean and scary.
Della loves other dogs and is good with kitties, too. She will probably always be a little on the reserved side, so she may not be a great fit for an active, bustling household with multiple small children. She's very smart, and already doing great with her crate and house training.
This girl is going to be pretty big, we think, so if you're looking for a standard 40 pound Aussie, she's not the one for you. However, if you want a sweetheart who's a little more on the "gentle giant" side, Della will fit right in! Plus, she's had her tail docked, so you don't have to worry about any coffee table incidents.
Della will be available to go home in a few weeks once she's been spayed and had her final vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300 and she is currently fostered in Columbia, SC.
