We asked one of our volunteers’ 6-year-old niece one simple question after spending some time with Woody:

“What do you think about Woody?”

Here’s what she had to say:

• He looks like a snow dog
• His eyes are like the color of the sky mixed with the clouds
• Did you get his hair is kinda like clouds too?
• I bet he digs holes in the snow and blends in
• Loves playing, especially with a ball
• OH…and he loves people
• Tall enough to kiss me…but not if you’re a grown up…you’ll be too tall

We think she has Woody figured out.

Now we just need to find someone who takes her word for it.

Woody has been keeping busy and enjoying lots of adventures with our incredible volunteers and board members! From walks and hikes to exploring new places, this 3-year-old boy is ready!

Meet Woody! 🐾

Woody is a 3-year-old Alaskan Husky looking for an adventurous family/person to share his life with! He enjoys hiking, camping, long walks, and exploring new spaces. Woody is crate trained, off-leash trained with a reliable recall, and cool as a cucumber on walks!

This sweet boy is friendly, confident, and gets along well with dogs, cats, kids, and new people, making him a great fit for many different homes.

We are excited to kick off our June 2026 t-shirt fundraiser! Every donation from the fundraiser helps cover real needs for dogs in our care.

As a thank-you for your support, donations of $25 or more will receive one complimentary short-sleeve fundraiser t-shirt. Want more than one shirt? A minimum donation of $25 is required for each shirt requested.

Our fundraiser shirts feature The Red Dog Rescue logo on the front upper chest and a larger design on the back.

To receive your shirt:
• Make your minimum $25 donation through the designated Shirt Fundraiser Zeffy link (link below)
• Mark your size and pick up location on the Zeffy link

To help us avoid ordering more shirts than needed, this is a preorder fundraiser. Once the fundraiser closes, we will tally all sizes and place the order.

Please note: Shirts are unisex and pickup only unless shipping arrangements are discussed and approved in advance.

The Shirt Fundraiser Zeffy link will remain open until June 30, 2026, at 10:00 PM EST.
