Going into this new week with some relief and hopefully less stress. Monday, a singleton I brought home that was covered in fleas and a tick, passed from panleukopenia. On Tuesday, Pedro, the ginger in the top right of the photo came down with symptoms and tested positive for panleuk as well, though I do believe they are separate cases.
He got hooked up with all the good stuff and within 24hrs was already back to normal everything. Today you'd not even think he had tested positive. No one else has presented with any symptoms and are doing well. The CH girls are doing great.
The bears and Cecily are doing well upstairs and I sent unsocial Cleo to another foster and she is doing well. I typically do NOT ever want a house full like I had because of situations like this. It's so risky. But sometimes I'm the only option in a pinch and I do have the resources to keep everyone separate and safe.
Hoping for a healthy week for all 🩷
