Reed is 2.1lbs this morning! 🥳✨

Fern is 1.97 and Tansy is 1.91 so I have just another couple days or so with them before they go back to Humane Society for Hamilton County (Indiana) ❣️

It looks like Sorrel, Chicory, and Briar have all been adopted. Mama Clover is still available.

And then there were three 💕😭

Mama Clover, Sorrel, Briar, and Chicory went back to Humane Society for Hamilton County (Indiana) today to find homes soon!

I took Reed, Tansy, and Fern home with me and will have them for a couple more days to a week or so, so they can catch up with their siblings in weight.

It’s always so bittersweet passing them back to the shelter. I will miss them, but I am so happy that they are all healthy and strong and ready to hopefully find their forever families! ❣️

These precious babies are all nearing their 2lb weight requirement to be spayed and neutered. I am having trouble keeping wet food in the pen as mama Clover is literally eating ALL of it every time I put it out 😅

She only needs about 4 cans a day (she’s eating more like 6-8) and has constant access to kibble, but I guess the wet stuff is just too tempting for her. Tansy and Fern are both the smallest right now around 1.6lbs. Here’s to hoping they can bulk up before Saturday 🤞 so they can start their journey finding forever homes! 🏠💕

The fosters are 7 weeks old today! 🥳 that means we have 1 week until they should be ready to go back to the shelter and find homes!

I’ve put together some bios for them below 👇

Briar - certified orange 🍊 Briar is very playful and loves to romp around with his siblings. He enjoys being pet and receiving attention, but also likes to relax on his own. He’s the best of both worlds!

Reed - A big sweetie pie. Reed loves playing with his siblings and is a little more shy compared to the others, but he always purrs when picked up. He is gentle and super easy going.

Sorrel - biggest of the bunch, Sorrel is playful and sweet. When he’s not playing with his siblings he is often seen resting at the top of the cat tree by himself. He is definitely one of the more independent kittens in the litter!

Chicory - a social butterfly 🦋 Chicory is probably the most confident and energetic of the bunch! He approaches people easily and often, and he likes to be on you at all times / in your lap. He is also talkative and has a lot to say!

Fern - can be shy at first but warms up quick, and then will climb on you! Fern is super sweet and playful but I also see him on his own from time to time. He is overall just a well rounded and agreeable little boy!

Tansy - the only girl in the litter, Tansy is seen lounging around, and on her own a bit more than the others, but she still enjoys participating in playtime. She is another one that usually gets up into my lap when given the opportunity. She also carries toys around in her mouth which is very cute!

We have now entered the “escape the enclosure” phase of kittenhood. There always comes a day when they start figuring it out and it never gets better from there on out. I found Tansy outside the pen, sleeping in the laundry basket this morning 🤣
