Say hello to our boy Rizzo 👋 🤩 He's an Australian Shepherd mix and about 7.5 years young who's been visiting Bark since 2019!

🐶 We love getting to play with him in our Large group while his younger sister Mabel gets to play in our Small/Medium group!

Fun Fact: he's named after famous baseball player Anthony Rizzo! And our energetic guy sure lives up to his namesake ⚾

getting our summer tans on this weekend! 😎 It's always important to be checking in on your pets as the heat continues to stick around.

Check out some early signs of overheating to keep an eye out for this summer:
🥵 Intense Panting -- rapid, heavy, or laboured breathing
💦 Thick Drool -- saliva becomes sticky, thick or frothy
🔴 Red Gums -- also could see pale/grayish membranes or a flushed tongue
🥱 Behavior Changes -- uncharacteristic confusion, restlessness or continuously seeking shade or puddles

⌛ Be sure to limit times outside as temperatures increase and avoid the hottest parts of the day for any extended time outside! And remember, if the pavement is too hot for your hands, it's DEFINITELY too hot for our pups! ✋🌡️

Hello everyone, Kahlo here! 👋 😋 I'm a 5 year young English Bulldog/Boxer mix and proud Bark visitor since 2023.

Some fun things about me are:
✅ I've just recently passed my temperament test and get to play in group with so many new friends!
🕺 I love to dance and get all of the pets and attention from the Barkefellers staff

Happy Memorial Day everyone! ❤️🤍💙

We hope everyone is having a wonderful day of rest and relaxation! We're happy to report our pet friends are having a great stay with us and are so thankful for our staff that make those results possible every day, especially on days we're closed to the public!

We're looking forward to returning to our normal service tomorrow, but still have staff in the building if you're needing to check on your fur baby 🫶
