🐾 Happy Tails: Gus 🐾

Some things are just meant to be—and for Gus, that meant finding his forever family with the Piekarskis! 🏡

The Piekarski family spotted Gus’s picture online and immediately knew they had to meet him. It was love at first sight, and now this sweet boy has the family he was always meant to have. 💙

Gus’s journey started in a shelter in Kentucky, but thanks to his foster mom Sarah—who poured her heart into preparing him for adoption—he was ready to step right into his forever home.

Now, Gus is living his best life surrounded by love, and we couldn’t be happier for him and his new family. Congratulations to the Piekarskis, and thank you for opening your hearts and home to this wonderful boy. 🐾

🔥🐾 Foster Update: Karen 🐾🔥

Life’s pretty sweet when you’ve got a warm fire, good company, and (chocolate-free!) s’mores. ✨ Karen enjoyed a cozy evening by the campfire with her foster brother, and we think she’s onto something—this girl knows how to soak up the good life!

Karen isn’t available for adoption just yet, but her foster dad Scott says she’s already dreaming about the day when she’ll have a forever family to share these moments with. 💛

Stay tuned for more updates on this beautiful girl—we have a feeling her adopters are going to love her as much as we do.

🐾 Meet Boomer 🐾

Looking for a buddy who’s equal parts silly, sweet, and snuggly? Meet Boomer, a 1.5-year-old, 65-pound lab who’s ready to find his forever family!

Boomer has a huge soft spot for people, dogs, and—let’s be honest—any comfy piece of furniture. His days are filled with chasing after his doggie sisters, dabbling in the art of fetch, and keeping the neighborhood safe from squirrels with his dedicated window patrol.

When he’s not on lookout duty, Boomer loves stretching out on the couch—sometimes perched just right with his paws on the armrest and his chin on the table. He’s also a pro at hanging with his humans… especially if snacks are involved.

✨ Boomer’s Wish List:
✔️ A home with another playful pup
✔️ A securely fenced yard for zoomies
✔️ A family who isn’t gone long hours (he’s not a big fan of daytime crating)
✔️ Older or dog-savvy kids would be great!

Boomer is house-trained, crate-trained at night, and working on his leash manners. He hasn’t met cats yet.

Who will choose the winning number in our Labapalooza tennis ball drop? Join us Sunday, September 14 at Mallow Run Winery to find out!

Labapalooza attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tennis ball numbers. Then, numbered tennis balls will be placed in an enclosure and a LOLIN alumni rescue dog will retrieve the winning ball. Chances are $1 each or 6 for $5. And the winning number will be selected at 3:45 p.m.

🌟 Meet Rico – Our Hidden Gem 🌟

This handsome 2-year-old boy has been waiting patiently in foster care for over a year—and we just know his perfect family is out there. 💛

Rico is 60lbs wrapped up in a shiny black coat and those liquid brown eyes that could melt anyone’s heart. He’s playful, loyal, and ready to share his joy with a family of his own.

🐕 Rico loves other dogs—especially ones who will play tug, race around the yard, or wrestle with him. He would do best in a home with a fun, playful doggie friend to keep him company.

🎾 He’ll happily chase a ball
🐰 At night, he sleeps in his crate with his favorite pink bunny
🏡 A secure fenced yard is a must for this speedy boy.

Rico can be a little nervous with new things, but with patience, consistency, and support from LOLIN’s vet behaviorist partner, he’s already grown so much in foster care. His foster family says he’s blossomed into a sweet, confident companion—they know he’ll thrive even more in his forever home.

🐾 Happy Tails: Andrew! 🐾

Fostering is always bittersweet, and our wonderful foster Gail reminded us of that this week. 💛 Last week, her handsome foster boy Andrew pranced proudly out the door, hopped into the car with his new family, and never looked back!

Now officially named Andy, this sweet boy is settling right into his fur-ever home. His new family has already shared updates, and he’s clearly loving life with them. 🏡✨

A huge THANK YOU to Gail and Mark, who gave Andy so much love and care during his foster journey—and a special shoutout to Lily, who once again trained up a rookie like the pro she is!
