🎉 Happy Adoption Week 🎉

This week not ONE, but TWO, of our rescues went to their furever homes!

Hudson has been rehabbing with us since September and Friday he got to meet his new mama. She’s both Heeler and rehab savvy - exactly what we’ve been waiting on for so long! Hudson will have a brother about the same age to help him feel at home while he learns his new routine. We couldn’t be more excited for Hudson’s next chapter!

And pretty Miss Lila also found her perfect home this week! She joins a Pyr experienced home with her very own Pyr big brother, Fred. We know Lila will be spoiled and given every comfort as she settles into her new life.

Big thanks to my husband and daughter for covering the adoptions this week/weekend. Couldn’t do it without my amazing peeps beside me. 💪🏻

Stay tuned for an updated post for our April Adoptables - Tilly, Josie, Bruno, and Charlie are all still looking for their own happy endings!

Easter in Maine and the rain isn’t slowing a single one of them down 🌧️🐾

Wet paws, muddy legs, full-speed zoomies like it’s the best day ever—because to them, it is. Just dogs getting to run, play, and be completely in the moment.

Last day out here before we turn around and start heading back west. Long road ahead, but this right here is the good part.

GRWM: Charlie (Part 2) 💨✨

Blowout time and he crushed it — stood there and let me get it done like a pro 👏
Same as his bath, just easy to work with and no fuss.

Now don’t let that fool you though… this boy has energy ⚡️
The second we’re done, he’s right back to being his goofy, playful self like nothing ever happened.

Fresh, fluffy, and ready to go — just with a little extra shine now 🐾

Charlie is up for adoption and looking for someone who’s ready for a fun, lively personality to match 💛

GRWM: Josie (Part 2) 💨🛏️🧸

Blowout ✔️ and she handled it like she’s been doing this her whole life.
All clean, all fluffy, and officially out of energy 😴

Got her set up with a new bed and her own toy — her first things that are just hers. And she knew it too… went straight to her spot, curled up, toy tucked in, completely content.

No chaos, no zoomies — just a tired girl settling in after a big day.

Josie is available for adoption and clearly very ready to make herself at home 💛🐾

GRWM: Josie (Part 1) 🛁✨

Josie’s first bath with me and she made it so easy 💗

Walked right in, stood there like a pro, and let me do everything without a fight. No panic, no nonsense — just quietly trusting me and taking it all in.

You can see her settling already. New place, new routine, and she’s just going with it like she’s meant to be here.

Clean, soft, and already feeling herself a little 💅🐾
Next up… the blowout 😏

11 days. 7,500 miles. And we’re still rolling.

This route has been a mix of long hauls, moving pieces, and dogs settling in as we go. Every stop matters—getting them out, letting them decompress, stretch, sniff, and just be dogs for a minute before the next leg. It’s not just transport, it’s care the entire way through.

What’s ahead:
Ace → New York
Snoopy → Maine
Fari → Massachusetts
Timber → Illinois
Mandy → Colorado

Still a lot of road left, but every mile gets someone closer to where they’re meant to be.

Every ride saves a life. 🐾

Hudson, Bruno, Charlie, and Josie are four dogs who have been waiting — through transports, boarding, and everything in between — for someone to finally choose them.

They’ve done the hard part already. They’ve learned, adjusted, trusted again. They’re ready.

Now it needs to be their turn.

Each one is different — calm, playful, goofy, driven — but every one of them is looking for the same thing: a real home, not another stop along the way.

So here’s the ask — don’t just scroll.

Read their stories.
Pick one.

If you’ve been even thinking about adding a dog to your life, this is your sign to act on it.

💙 Adopt Hudson! 💙

Hudson was never part of the plan — but some dogs have a way of choosing their path.

Last October, he was riding on a transport, headed toward what was supposed to be his new home. When we arrived, no one came. After everything he had already endured, there was no way he was being left behind — so Hudson stayed.

What unfolded over the following weeks told a much bigger story. Hudson came from a life filled with instability and fear, and he carried that weight with him. He was unsure, guarded, and trying to make sense of a world that hadn’t been kind to him.

But Hudson didn’t stay stuck there.

With time, patience, and consistency, he’s found his footing. The dog he is today is exactly what you hope for in a Heeler — incredibly smart, deeply loyal, and fully devoted once he trusts you. That bond, once earned, is everything.

Through it all, one thing has never wavered — Hudson loves other dogs. He integrated seamlessly into my pack and thrives in their presence. A confident dog companion will only help him continue to grow.

What he needs now is something I can’t fully give him here — calm. A quieter home, a predictable routine, and space to truly settle in. He’s done well in the chaos of rescue life, but he deserves a place where he can exhale.

Hudson is not a beginner dog. As a Blue Heeler, he needs someone who understands the breed — the intelligence, the sensitivity, and the structure they require to succeed.

The right home for Hudson:
🐾 Adult-only home
🐾 Confident dog companion preferred
🐾 Herding breed experience required
🐾 Calm, structured environment
🐾 Not cat tested
🐾 Transport available

We love him. Truly. And that’s exactly why we’re committed to finding the home that matches what he gives — loyalty, heart, and a second chance done right.

Park stops like this are everything 🐾

After miles on the road, nothing beats watching a van full of transport dogs turn into a pack of happy, zooming, tail-wagging chaos. Clients and rescues alike stretching their legs, playing hard, and just getting to be dogs for a minute.

These breaks aren’t just fun—they matter. They help release energy, reduce stress, and keep everyone mentally and physically balanced for the rest of the trip.

Moments like this are a reminder of why I do what I do.
From long hauls to open grass, every step of the journey counts.

Every ride saves a life. 🐾

Buster is on board and stealing the show already.

This floofy little legend is a Tibetan Mastiff puppy—and yes, he’s just as perfect as he looks. Big paws, bigger personality, and that cloud-like coat that makes you want to bury your face in it (don’t worry… I did 😌).

Fun fact: Tibetan Mastiffs were originally bred to guard livestock in the Himalayas, often working independently overnight to protect entire villages. That “cute fluff” grows into a seriously intelligent, loyal protector with a strong sense of awareness.

For now though? Buster is all puppy energy, soft fur, and main character vibes.

Every ride saves a life 🐾
