We hope everyone is safe from the storms last night. We do not have power at the clinic as of now so we are going to have to reschedule morning appointments and potentially afternoon appointments too. We will call everyone scheduled when the power comes back on and we can access our system.

As the temperature is dropping and snow is on the horizon, here are some tips to keep your pets safe this winter!

❄ If it is too cold for you to stay outside for long periods of time, it is too cold for them. Bring them inside
❄ If walking in a snowy/salty area be sure to wipe the paws of the pet off when coming back inside to remove any salt or de-icing chemicals. You can put a small amount of Vaseline on the paw pads to help protect the paws from the salt/chemicals.
❄ Be sure to avoid any antifreeze spills as this is extremely toxic to pets.
❄ Get your pet a sweater or some booties to help walks outside be a bit more comfortable for them
