This puppy was found in a creek bed next to a road by a passing couple. They stopped and picked her up. She had a gash in her head that was embedded with gravel. She was covered with dirt, blood and fleas. They took her to Flint River Animal Hospital where she was cleaned up and treated for a fractured leg. We assume she was thrown out of a vehicle.
She now has a splint on her leg and is probably a lot more comfortable, even with her cone. She will have to have go back to the clinic to have her splint changed monthly until her leg heals. The couple who rescued her plans to continue to care for her. Her account is at Flint River Animal Hospital under SNAP-Puppy Barrett. Good News! Molly has recovered from her gunshot wound and is now home and well! THANKS TO ALL WHO DONATED TO HELP WITH HER SURGERY! She had to have an additional surgery because the bullet that went through her jaw shattered a tooth. The fragments had to be removed. She has recovered from both surgeries. Thanks to Flint River Animal Hospital and thanks to everyone for their support!

COOKIE needs a quiet temp foster from Aug. 15 to 23 while her foster is out of town. She is a loving mama, whose kittens are vetted and being adopted into their own homes. Cookie is stressed & needs to spend time in a small confined area to relearn to use to litterbox; we'll provide a large crate, or it could be a small bathroom.
