*6 yr old Foundation AQHA bred gelding

*Started right with an amazing foundation
*Drag logs, rope off of him, trail ride...
*Loves cows
*Personality bigger than he is(& he's BIG!)
*15 2" and built like a brick house
*Smooooooth ride for his size

This amazing gelding came off of a working horse ranch out in Washington. Foundation Bred, he is the real deal! He was taught to high tie at a young age, has ponied and been ponied, has done ranch work, and loves to trail ride. Owner can't say enough good things about him, but she wants a barrel horse and our big guy "Bug" here just doesn't have the motor for the job.

This horse is massive, and therefore we recommend him for someone with a little bit of horse knowledge.

The brutal heat has not given us the opportunity for a good sale video, but here's a short preview for now!

Shaws Performance Horses had another great horse show over the weekend in Camden for the SCQHA South Carolina Quarter Horse Association Sandlapper Classic!

We always love to support SCQHA. They run a great show and had some amazing prizes. Our ladies managed to take home more Circuit Awards than we could count this weekend, and everyone had a blast.

Super proud of our group this year. They work hard, and it's been a heck of a show season! We'd love to have you if your looking for a great amateur friendly show family!

We've been wide open since Kevin Shaw and crew made it back from the NCQHA District IV Endless Summer Show in Williamston, but we need to stop and congratulate our girls for a fantastic show! More blues ribbons than they could keep track of, a bunch of Circuit Awards, and even a High Point All-Around buckle!!!

It was an amazing horse show for us, and we're thankful for the continued support of our fantastic customers.

Thanks to Susan Daniels and her hard-working team for another super fun show with awesome prizes. We appreciate you!

We just got in our first load of 2nd cutting Maryland orchard grass! This stuff is beautiful... (Just grab ya some ranch dressing and call it lunch!)

We can make it official!!!!

Thank you to Julie Kennedy for the referral and to everyone at Hickory Top Farm - SC for giving Mo the chance to be part of your program.

This horse is super special to us and we're happy to be able to share him and watch him in his new "job"!!! Every old gelding like him should be lucky to be so loved ♥️♥️♥️

Well, that's one way to start a sale video😂😂

Our little buddy "Lincoln" is still available. Someone is gonna luck out with this pony-sized gelding with a ton of potential!
From ranch riding, to trail riding, to trying the "half saddle" over some little jumps today... He's a gem!

He's had a fantastic start and had a very solid foundation, and is ready to go in any direction. He has the potential to make a great weekend all-around mount, or a super cute ranch rider. He's easy to get along with and very willing. Did we mention how cute he is???

Meet "Wren"
This sweet mare came to us when her current owners bought a step up horse.
She was recently being used as a walk/trot ranch rider for a novice beginner!
She's been shown in amateur ranch events, showmanship, halter, and horsemanship. She loves kids and has a very easy and forgiving attitude!
Outside of the show pen she has worked cattle, pony horse, roped off of, and trail rode extensively. She has a gelding personality and LOVES attention, as she is the barn favorite.
Clips without a twitch, self loads, stands for the farrier and vet.
