Come June I’ll only be offering pop up groom weekends! no more prebooked appointments aside from a few clients that have senior dogs or unique situations.
How this will work: at the end of each month I’ll post my pop up days or weekends I’ll be working for the next month coming up. Which will probably only be 6-7 days. First come, first serve.. This might mean your grooming schedule does not align with my availability or that I cannot get you in and I’m honestly so sorry about it.
Many of you know I am in grad school to become a dietitian. Fortunately but unfortunately i will be shifting my time and attention to my next chapter in life: dietetics and my family. I hope to take all of the immense detail and care I put in to grooming and transition that to the people that need people like me to maintain a health and happy life with no judgment and a good understanding of most recent science. In order to be taken seriously in this field, I need to start networking within it and I’m missing a lot of those opportunities and conversations.

As always, I refer clients locally to pooch hq (Ghent). I have alternative referrals to places in red hook, Saugerties, and Kingston as well. Disclaimer: these are just the salons that I have either worked with or know, so they are general recommendations! if you want a personal “I put my name behind this” groomer, I have a wonderful groomer I trust in Saratoga! Yep, it’s a hike!
