Nifty & I are thrilled to welcome this little girl to Dog Days farm. April 7 I brought this bundle of joy and mischief home .....so grateful to her incredible breeder , thank you Anna B for a fantastic puppy that has amazed me daily since we got home.

I don’t want to upset anyone , but feel very strongly about this...after all our dogs and cats give us the least we can do is bare witness and Ofer love and comfort as they pass, they never really leave but their body gives out ...Courage to be present Courage that comes from LOVE

“Pets, it turns out, also have last wishes before they die, but only known by veterinarians who put old and sick animals to sleep. Twitter user Jesse Dietrich asked a vet what was the most difficult part of his job.

The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep. The fact is that 90 % of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal. People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realize that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.

Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end. ′′It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life. Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them.

Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like. It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life. They dont understand why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner’s consolation.

Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are completely strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you. Think about the pet. Endure this pain for the sake of their sake. Be with them until the end.”

Its NOT all "how you raise them"

There, I said it.

Genetics play a HUGE role in canine behavior.

Pointers point, retrievers retrieve, livestock dogs herd, guardian dogs guard....why??... Genetics!

Whatever breed you have exists for a reason/purpose and was selectively bred for that purpose.

Be a responsible dog owner. Research the breed before you commit to one. Know the behaviours and how to use them, or redirect them.

This scared girl is from the hoarding situation. She is the sweetest girl and loves her belly rubs. We can’t get her to walk far yet because she is still terrified of noises and a lot of movement.

She would need someone to work very hard with her and be home alot. She is truly worth the effort 🥰

Please understand that not every dog is ready or able to greet other dogs or humans , please use respect for others and give those folks and theirpup some space..it’s your job to have control of your dog ....

It really doesn’t matter if your dog is friendly or not.

What matters is that you don’t take the choice away from another owner (and their dog) as to who they interact with.

There can be so many reasons why a dog and their owner need space from you and your dog.

Please allow them that choice 💙
