🚨 We’re Over Capacity for Dogs 🚨

Right now, 67 dogs are in our care — 27% OVER capacity.
Our kennels are beyond full, and more dogs are arriving each week than leaving.

🐶 Last week, only 1 dog was adopted. We are climbing higher in the Extreme capacity range.
🐱 Cats are in better shape, with 30 in shelter (38% capacity) and strong adoption/foster activity.

Update 9/15/21--I just KNEW you would help me! Val said she would foster me and Crazy Love Pet Rescue said they wanted to help me find my forever home. I"m so excited I can't stand it. Thank you!

I'm absolutely certain someone is going to come get me. All my brothers and sisters are safe, so it's just got to be my turn next. It was my idea. I'm the strong one. I said,"Take them, they need help more than I do." So OK, now I'm ready.

In case you couldn't tell from my glamorous photo shoot, I'm a little girl about 20 pound give or take. I promise I will just melt your heart.

If you'd like to keep me forever, I won't disappoint. If you can foster me for a little while, I will be the perfect house guest.

Sam is about 1-2 yrs old and weighs 26 lbs. He's finally letting people close and being a pup again. Maybe he's realizing not all people are bad.

SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS...Not his first post - but this boy, as handsome as he is, is guilty as charged - bit someone in the household - so he is RESCUE ONLY & it’s advised he be evaluated by a trainer / behaviorist. We do not know the details around what provoked him to bite but he deserves a chance. Last call for this handsome retriever.
