Delilah and her mama were made for each other and we are so lucky we got to be their matchmaker ❤️

Delilah’s forever mama texted us today and said:
“Just a little Delilah update! She’s has gotten so comfortable and come out of her shell the last few weeks. She’s the most polite dog I’ve ever met and for some reason loves to put her paw directly on my face when she’s getting belly rubs 😂. She has our walking route memorized and will beg for pets from everyone she meets. She’s even beginning to love car rides! (Just so long as she gets a pup cup after). We’ve been working really hard on basic commands and she has most of them down. We almost have perfect recall 👍🏻. Overall she is the sweetest perfect pup and I don’t deserve her. “

Happy forever, Deli! And huge thanks to her incredible foster Maria Amaya for working so hard to get her here ❤️

She’s just a girl in the world!

Clara is a total medical mess but she is so incredibly loving and deserving. Her list of medical is long: deeply infected ears that we have packed with meds, breathing issues (common with brachy breeds), skin full of bacteria and yeast, eyes with glaucoma and entropian, and an inverted tail that will need to be amputated. Despite this laundry list, she’s as sweet as can be.

Send her good juju in her healing journey! She’s got a great foster mama who will help her every step of the way.

We sure could use some help right now. We have taken on quite a few medical cases that have cost our rescue a pretty penny. We also have 2 upcoming orthopedic surgeries, each at $5k.

Otis having to be dropped at emergency this morning for a sudden, severe URI is the last thing any of us wanted. Otis is getting bloodwork, X-rays, and meds today. Sadly, we have to plead for donations.

If you’re able to donate, you have our undying gratitude. If you can’t donate, please share 🤍🤍

Gingersnap is a sweet, sassy, silly little girl who we are so lucky to have in rescue.

She’s about 9 years old, 9lbs, and maybe a Pekingese mix?

She is absolutely precious and assuming we get good news from the lab and her mammary mass, she will be on the market real soon!

Wellington is home and he is doing so well!!

His adopter loves senior pups so Wellington got to join a pack with 2 other little oldies and he’s loving every minute of it. His health is continuing to improve - best news for a 15 year old!!

Happy retirement, Wellington 🤍🤍

Welcome Aggie ❤️

The dog situation is bad all over Texas. And while we focus our efforts on those in need in Houston, sometimes, the timing is right and we are able to help in areas that are desperate. Just like Rocky, Cowboy found himself in the Rio Grande Valley in need of a new life and we are so grateful to his foster for saying yes.

Cowboy is a ~6 year old, 13lb, Pom/chi mix (maybe?) who has been an absolute doll. Great with people and dogs.

He will be neutered soon then available for adoption!
