Looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his Boxer smile? Meet Cosmo, a handsome 5½-year-old boy who's ready to find his forever family!

Cosmo is a friendly, affectionate pup who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. Due to changes in his family's circumstances, he's back with Houston Boxer Rescue and hoping for a second chance at the happy ending he deserves.

This sweet guy is housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps peacefully through the night on his dog bed. He enjoys toys, car rides, outdoor adventures, tasty treats, and showing off his excellent manners—he even sits and patiently waits for meals! He's smart, eager to please, and comes running when you call.

While Cosmo would be happy as your one and only, he truly enjoys having canine friends around to share his days with. He'd do best in a home with older, calmer children who match his gentle personality.

Hurricane season is here, and now is the time to make a plan—not when the storm is already at your doorstep.

As you prepare your emergency supplies, don’t forget the family members with four paws. Make sure your pets have a go-bag packed with food, water, medications, vaccination records, a leash or harness, ID tags, recent photos, comfort items, and a safe crate or carrier.

If you need to evacuate, take your pets with you. Never leave them behind during severe weather or flooding.

A few minutes of preparation today could make all the difference tomorrow. Stay safe, stay informed, and keep every member of your family—furry ones included—protected.
