Houston Boxer Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer, total foster care (no kennel facility) organization. HBR is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, health, and re-homing of abused, abandoned, neglected, or surrendered boxers within the Houston Metroplex and beyond. No officer or volunteer of Houston Boxer Rescue is compensated for their services. Rescue is a commitment of the heart,

a labor of love. We are serious about changing the lives of boxers that come through our program. Our goal for the dogs we rescue is a loving and secure forever future in a home that has been vetted by an experienced volunteer. We strive to match the needs and character of a particular animal to the home environment of an approved adopter. Houston Boxer Rescue depends totally upon donations from like-minded, compassionate people. Congratulations to our 2027 Great American Wigglebutt Calendar Contest Winner, Denzel!

Denzel may be a senior, but don't tell him that! He's full of goofy personality and has a way of making everyone around him smile. His sweet face and lovable charm captured the hearts of so many, and we couldn't be happier to have him represent our 2027 calendar cover.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who entered the contest, voted, donated, reserved special dates, and cheered on all of our amazing contestants. Your support helps Houston Boxer Rescue continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming boxers in need.

I'm a fun-loving, active guy who loves walks in the park, rope toys, dog parks, and making new dog friends. If there's room to run, you'll definitely catch me doing the zoomies!

I've been to farmers markets, doggy birthday parties, and have done great meeting new people and other pups. I love my toys, never turn down a good meal, and I'm ready to find a family to call my own.

We need your help!

Right now, we have boxers waiting for help that we simply can't bring into the Houston Boxer Rescue because we don't have enough foster homes available.

Fostering truly saves lives. Without foster families, we're forced to make heartbreaking decisions about the dogs we can and cannot help.

If you've ever considered fostering, now is the time. Even a temporary home can make a lifetime of difference.

Right now, the Houston Boxer Rescue needs more foster families to help us continue saving lives. Every foster home opens the door for another boxer in need to get the care, love, and second chance they deserve.

What an incredible calendar contest! Thank you to every contestant who entered, every person who voted, everyone who ordered a calendar, and everyone who donated to support Houston Boxer Rescue.

Because of you, this fundraiser was a success, and more boxers will get the second chance they deserve. We are so grateful for this amazing community and can't wait to share the 2027 calendar with you!
