This handsome kitty is Buddy. He is estimated 3-4 years old. He is being fostered by Gabe who rescued him recently. Here is what his foster has to share about him:
"Buddy, he is an orange maine c**n mix about 3-4 years old, about 13.2 lbs. He was a happy/friendly outdoor cat that everybody knew in the gated community where he had made his home. He was trapped as a feral so his ear was clipped when he was neutered, but Buddy is the furthest thing from being a fearl cat, he lived outside where a nice man would feed him and provide him shelter and cared for him outside his home, unfortunately another person in the community did not like Buddy hanging around and decided to grab him and dump him in another neighborhood, I found out about this incident and asked this person to take me to where she had taken Buddy, so I was able to locate him and rescue him and Laura and I decided to take Buddy in as a foster to enroll him in the SAPCR adoption program
Buddy is loving being an indoor cat only now, he loves having his own private bedroom and his own cat tree where he can stare out the window and reminisce about the good old outdoor days, he LOVES human companionship, and he is a chest climber, where he loves to lay down on top of his owner's chest, make biscuits and purr his heart out while receiving his pettings, if a chest is unavailable, he settles for laying down next to his human and be in close contact. Buddy is learning about all the perks that come with being an indoor spoiled cat, he is enjoying playing with the feather toy and we are still discovering what other activities he may like. Buddy can do well as a solo cat, but he was well known in the old neighborhood to always be hanging out with the other neighborhood kitties, they all liked Buddy and loved coming to see him and hang out with him, so he could do well in a household with other friendly cats. The person that was feeding him outside his door had a couple of dogs, so Buddy was used to the dogs coming out and barking at him and he didn't care, so he may be OK in a household with dogs that are cat friendly but it would depend on the specific case to be determined. "

Four new adult cats have joined the Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue adoption program under some sad circumstances. The cats belonged to a lady, a dedicated animal lover and rescuer, who died unexpectedly. She had four cats, all rescues that were doted on like they were her children. Sadly, the woman didn't have a plan in place for her cats in case she passed, so they find themselves adrift and in need of new homes. The cats love to play and cuddle, and are used to having a dog in the house.

The cats are Samba and Oreo, 11 year old sisters. Samba is a Tuxedo girl who is a talker and very affectionate. Oreo, a white and black Cow Cat, loves cuddles. They are both sweet.

Francisco is a 12 year old Grey Tabby male, calm and loving. Pierre is a Black Medium Haired 8 year old boy who is very social and very much into fun.
