Meet Pepper — patiently waiting for a place to finally call home 💛
Pepper is a 3.5–4-year-old, 50-lb bundle of wiggles and happiness who has been overlooked for far too long. She’s been in foster care for nearly two years, and we truly can’t understand why. She’s loving, loyal, and full of life — all she wants is a family to love her back.
Pepper is very dog-social and, once settled, is one of the most solid dogs we’ve seen when meeting other pups. Like many dogs who’ve experienced uncertainty, she needs proper decompression and slow introductions to feel safe. In a new environment, she may be a little guarded for the first few weeks — but once she settles in, her sweet, silly personality absolutely shines.
And what a personality it is! Pepper is all smiles, wiggles, and affection. She loves being around her people and has so much love to give. She just doesn’t understand why no one has chosen her yet — and honestly, neither do we.
If you can give Pepper a little patience at the beginning, she’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, joy, and unconditional love.
