Meet Claire! At only 5 months old, she’s already spent much of her puppyhood healing from a fractured spine and slipped disc. Over the past several weeks in foster, she’s had lots of rest, carefully managed activity, physical therapy, and plenty of love along the way.
Despite spending so much of her puppyhood healing, Claire has already learned SO much! She’s crate-trained, mostly house-trained, working on her puppy skills and tricks, enjoys other dogs, and even did great meeting a cat.
She loves exploring, sniffing around the woods, puzzles, and enrichment. She’s also an expert cardboard-box shredder and is convinced plastic bottles are some of the greatest toys ever invented. 😂 After so much time on exercise restriction, she has LOTS of puppy enthusiasm and is ready to experience more of the world!
Claire is still healing and being followed by her veterinary team, with Baypath continuing to support her care.
Now all she needs is a foster-to-adopt family to help her write the next chapter.
