Alpha’s on duty!

We got to spent some time hanging out with the firefighters at Prattville Fire Department today — getting plenty of attention, making new friends, and reminding us exactly why we’re so excited about this next chapter for Secret Keepers.

This visit is part of our new Critical Incident Response Program, created to bring support directly to the first responders who spend every day showing up for everyone else.
Through this program, our dogs won’t only respond to stations and departments following critical incidents. They’ll also make regular station visits — sometimes just popping in to say hello, spend time with the crew, and provide a little four-legged stress relief.
Because support shouldn’t only show up after the hard calls. Sometimes it looks like a quiet moment in a recliner, a few moments of distraction around the station, or simply having a dog there who asks nothing of you.
We want our first responders to know that Secret Keepers is here on the hard days, the good days, and all the ordinary days in between.

A puppy donation is never “just a puppy.” It is the beginning of hope, healing, and a future partnership that can change—and even save a life.

We are incredibly grateful to Phil Gray at Covey Flush Kennels for his generous donation of these two beautiful puppies!

It all starts here—over the coming months, these puppies will grow, learn, and begin their training as they take their first steps toward becoming service dogs for a first responder or military member in need. Every puppy donated allows us to put more of our resources directly toward training, veterinary care, equipment, and ultimately placing these dogs with the people who need them—at no cost to the recipient.

To Phil and Covey Flush Kennels, thank you for believing in our mission, believing in these puppies, and trusting Gods direction.

We can’t wait for everyone to follow along and see what these two little ones accomplish. Their Secret Keepers journey starts now.

Definitely didn’t get as many pictures as I wanted, but Delta and Belle had such a good day at the senior center! Thank you to everybody who made that possible, such a cool public access training opportunity for Delta and always fun to be a part the community!
