🐱Every cat has a different comfort level with tooth brushing. Whether they tolerate a toothbrush, prefer a finger brush, or you’re still stuck at stage one—consistency and progress are better than nothing!

🪥 If brushing isn’t possible, talk with your veterinarian about other dental-care options and check out the VOHC-approved products.

🦷 Existing dental disease can make brushing painful and decrease compliance, so prevention is key. More severe dental disease can mean higher complexity dental procedures with multiple extractions, longer anesthesia times, and higher costs.

Preparation is key! Having a go bag for your pet is essential to making sure you and your family are prepared to make a quick get away in the event of a disaster. Here are a few ideas of what to pack in YOUR go bag!
- Bag/backpack
- Medical records (vaccines, microchip, allergies, photo, health issues)
- Medications
- carrier/kennel
- 2 weeks worth of food and water
- extra leash/collar/tags with contact information
- blankets and towels
- bowls
- toy/treats
- pet first aid kit
- anything else you believe to be important for your pet!
