This sweet boy is looking for his forever home! He was rescued from a tough situation and is about 7 months old. Prior to adoption he will be up to date on all his vaccines and neutered. "Ranger" is already kennel trained and very sweet and playful. He will likely be large around 70-80 lb and needs some room to run and a home where he can be active. He is very social and gets along with other animals well. If you are interested please call us at 205-943-0008.

We had some very special visitors yesterday! Did you know Homewood Animal Hospital proudly provides the veterinary care for all of Homewood City School service dogs? As a part of our commitment to giving back to this incredible community, we offer complimentary care to each of the facility dogs at HCS. Maize (HCE), Russell (SCE), Jubie (HMS), Foxie (EES) and Delta (SCE) play a vital role in supporting and comforting students, faculty and everyone they meet. We are honored to keep them healthy and thriving!

We are so proud! Our amazing assistant, Ella, just found out she was accepted into Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine! She is going to make a fantastic veterinarian!
