Today is all about celebrating the amazing dogs who bring so much love, laughter, and happiness into our lives every single day! 🐶❤️

At Pawsitive Purrfection Pet Resort, we feel incredibly lucky to spend our days with such an amazing group of pups. Every one of our members holds a special place in our hearts. From the excited tail wags at drop-off to the cuddles, kisses, zoomies, and playtime throughout the day — we truly love and cherish each and every one of them like family. 🐾

Thank you to all of our wonderful pet parents for trusting us with your precious pups. Being part of their lives and watching friendships grow is one of the greatest parts of what we do.

☀️ It’s going to be a HOT one! ☀️

With extreme temperatures expected today, July 1st–July 4th, don’t forget that our pets need extra protection too! Heat can be dangerous for dogs and cats, especially during the hottest parts of the day.

🚫 Never leave pets in a hot car — temperatures inside vehicles can rise quickly and become dangerous, even for a short time.

🔥 Watch out for hot pavement & sidewalks — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! Try walks early in the morning or later in the evening.

💦 Fresh water is a must — make sure your pets always have access to clean, cool water.

🌳 Keep outdoor time short during peak heat — provide shade and watch for signs of overheating like heavy panting, drooling, weakness, or tiredness.

As the weather warms up, ticks are becoming very active everywhere including walks, backyards, parks, and wooded areas. ☀️🌳

At Pawsitive Purrfection Pet Resort, your pup’s safety is always our top priority, and we want to remind pet parents to stay extra vigilant this season!

✔️ Keep your dog on flea & tick prevention
✔️ Check your pup daily, especially ears, paws, belly & tail
✔️ Keep grass trimmed short
✔️ Wash bedding regularly
✔️ Contact your vet if you notice any concerns

Even with prevention, ticks can still happen during outdoor play, walks, hikes, or backyard time, so daily checks are very important! 🐶🔍

🐣🐰 Easter came early at Pawsitive Purrfection!

We had a visit from the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt for the dogs, and plenty of treats along the way. Each pup also went home with their own Easter basket 🐾

It was a great day with lots of excited pups and wagging tails all around. Happy Easter from the Pawsitive Purrfection family!
