We are located on 50 acres of fields & forests. Canine College was founded in 1970 in Holbrook Massachusetts on an old farmstead as a sporting dog and obedience kennel. We have grown over the yea

rs and have added a full line of services to accommodate all breeds of dogs. Our staffs of expert dog trainers have combined, over ninety (90) years of experience. Common problems such as jumping on people, dragging you down the street, nipping, chewing, not coming when called, and aggressive behavior are only some of the negative behaviors the we encounter. We at Canine College can meet your every need. We have training programs tailored to fit your pet and family. We treat every dog as an individual, and utilize the most recent methods and psychology of a dog’s learning and memory process. We use methods that motivate and encourage dogs to want to learn and please their human family. With the completion of the new building in 2006, we now have expanded our indoor and outdoor facilities, and have added additional day care areas.

Our sweet Melly had to go to urgent care yesterday for a hematoma (shout out to VUCC in braintree)! She is on the mend in the suite 🥺❤️‍🩹 she loves all of the special treatment but what she would really love is a home and family to to love her forever! Her healing will take a little bit but when she is her full self, Melly is high energy and loves her toys more than anything. She does not like other dogs! She needs lots of exercise (what herding breed doesn’t?)

Our buddy underwent a recent surgery 🥹 We have our aspiring DVM on the case, and her certified VA right there with her. 🫡 The ultimate sign of love and trust is allowing us to care for the medical needs of your fur babies. Whether they had a recent surgery, a medical complexity, diabetes or another diagnosis, there’s no higher display of trust between you and us ❤️
Some places may say they can’t board your dog after surgery. Some people may say, “How could you?”
We say thank you for the trust. The suite will be ready for them, tell us everything we need to do, and the girls can’t wait to see you 🥰🐾

Happy Thanksgiving!💛🧡🤎

This gorgeous update of GSRNE - German Shepherd Rescue New England ‘s Max is another reminder of all we have to be grateful for today and everyday. We are grateful to be apart of rehabilitating, training, saving dogs who wouldnt be given the time of day. We are grateful to our clients, old and new, regulars or once in a whiler’s, who have allowed us to serve the community for 55 years! That type of longevity is only possible with the most wonderful clients and most wonderful employees. We are grateful to be a part of something so much bigger than us!
