💔 RALSTON IS STILL WAITING. HOW MUCH LONGER MUST HE WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HIM? 💔
Meet Ralston. A handsome black-and-white, 2½-year-old Lab/Hound mix with a heart full of love, energy to spare, and so much hope left to give. 🐾❤️
Ralston thought he had found his forever home. For eight months, he had a dad. He had someone to love, someone to come home to, and someone he believed would always be there.
And then, one day, he wasn't there anymore.
His dad decided he had other hobbies and no longer had time for Ralston. Just like that, the dog who had given eight months of his heart was returned to rescue. His person moved on, but Ralston was left behind to start all over again. 💔
And the hardest part? RALSTON HASN'T GIVEN UP ON PEOPLE.
He still hopes. He still waits. He is still looking for his person — the one who will walk through the door and never leave him wondering what he did wrong. The one who will see him, choose him, and mean it.
Ralston has now been back with our rescue for almost as long as he was in the home he thought was forever. And despite being a wonderful, friendly, intelligent boy, people keep passing him by.
And here's something that makes our hearts ache even more: Ralston has even been featured on TV on Pet Connection with Steve Caporizzo! 📺🐾 He's had his moment in the spotlight, but he is still waiting for the one thing that matters most — a family to call his own.
Why? Why does a good dog have to wait so long for someone to see what we see?
Ralston is energetic, eager to learn, and ready to be someone's best friend. He would love a home with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off some of that Lab/Hound energy. He may need a little patience and support as he adjusts to a new environment, but with consistency, understanding, and love, he has so much potential to blossom. He might even enjoy having another compatible dog to play with!
He isn't asking for a perfect family. He's asking for a family that understands that bringing a dog home is a commitment — even when life gets busy, new hobbies come along, or things aren't as convenient as they once seemed.
RALSTON DESERVES TO BE MORE THAN SOMEONE'S TEMPORARY CHAPTER. HE DESERVES TO BE SOMEONE'S FOREVER. ❤️
