Remote training is not a lesser option to in-person sessions. I prefer starting all clients with at least one remote session so we can get our bearings with each other and so I can get you and your dog started right away with suggestions to minimize the occurrence of any unwanted behaviors before we...

July 8, 2021 Update - For new prospective clients - please check your spam or promotions folders for email replies as sometimes they land there. No group classes are currently scheduled. Remote sessions are currently scheduling about 2 weeks out for a first session and for in-person private training sessions I am currently scheduling about 3 weeks to 4 weeks out depending on where you live. If you have a very flexible schedule and can quickly hop into a cancelation slot I might be able to fit you in sooner. If you work M-F 9-5 and have a tight window of availability or live outside of Columbia County you may need to schedule a month in advance for your first session. There are many new dog owners in our area so expect all pet related services to be very busy; trainers, boarding facilities, day care, groomers, veterinarians. Get in touch with services you will need in the future early!

I'm bursting with pride over our students' achievements! Three nosework students earned their NW1 titles in New Paltz over the weekend. Team Eli has been with us from the beginning with NW Foundations, Team Danny has been working with us since last winter, and Team Cami started working with us in the late summer. I am thrilled with each team's dedication to building their skills as well as to just having a blast together! Congratulations guys! 👏

Columbia County, Taghkanic area lost dog. Please share and keep an eye out for Roxy.

PLEASE help -- If you are in the area, keep an eye out for ROXY! She has been missing for TWO WEEKS now. Initially we had sightings and traps were set but nothing in the last couple of days. She has traveled several miles from her recently adopted home so until we get a sighting we don't know where to set traps now . She has been posted to lost dog sites and animal warden is helping in the search. Please SHARE with everyone you know. ROXY needs to come home! www.perfectpetsrescue.org
