With a heavy heart I guess it is time to make it official.
Our beloved HHF Colonels Invictus is available for purchase.
His owners goals have changed as life does and Envy is looking for another 5 star home.
Envy is a dream to handle and has excellent manners. We believe that they earn the right to stay intact and he has never given us reason to question him.
He is almost literally 1 of a kind with roughly 400 total in the registry. I'm not kidding when I say Envy is the "golden goose". Envy is 5 panel tested NN for genetic disorders AND he is Homozygous Champagne. Trained for AI and has never jumped a mare. He is easy peasy in the breeding barn with not bad behavior or ugliness.
Did I mention he rides and has been shown? My bad, I forget how great he is from time to time. Envy is a gentleman in every way, he will truly be missed here. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to meet him remembers him. Let me know if you want a true piece of history in your barn.

This is so true! Don't let anyone make you feel bad or "less" for where you and your horse are at. We all have to start somewhere and there are plenty of speed bumps along the way. It's a life long journey, not something that can be mastered quickly (if ever 🧐). Just keep adding rides to that piggy bank, it all adds up to something

Trailer loading practice with a 2 horse trailer. Time, and some bribes go a long way. While they get comfortable I let them come and go. They are worried about being "trapped" in it already so don't confirm their fears. 😉 Practice and good experiences build confidence.

About Me

What can I say, if it involves horses, ponies, or mules I am all in.

I did not grow up in a horse family and was not raised around them. I always wanted to be with horses however, and found them as soon as I could. I got my start at a camp as a teenager riding lesson horses. It was not long after that I was guiding trail rides and giving riding lessons myself. My favorite time was Summer Camp time where it was horses all day every day 24/7 and I got to see many kids blossom once horseback.

From my time at the camp my focus has always been on the well rounded and "safe" horse above all else.

I carried that with me while exercising Thoroughbreds at Lone Star Park, training barrel horses, starting American Saddlebreds under saddle, loping cutting horses, training draft horses and everything in between.
