What an incredible weekend full of learning! These two did so well by their horses and are both bringing home a lot of things to continue working on, which is of course, the goal of going to clinics!

It is a personal milestone for me to be able to bring members of my little community to learn from Joel Conner alongside me and I'm so excited to keep growing this special group.

Here's to many more challenging moments in the continuous cycle of euphoria and dispair!

This past weekend, I had the good fortune of participating in a clinic taught by Joel Conner in one of the most beautiful places with some of the most amazing people. Robin and I gained some really positive experiences and, it comes as no surprise, we both really benefitted from Joel's teaching and support. I can't say enough positives about this past weekend, but suffice it to say, I'm so glad I made that drive!

We have two stalls left to fill! Priority will go to anyone who's also interested in lessons or training. This community is really coming together and I would love to add one or two people who want to join us in bettering ourselves for our horses.

Saturday mornings around the barn are full of laughs, learning, support, and positivity in the group classes. We're heading to our first clinic as a little group in a month and now that the weather's so beautiful, we'll have to schedule some trail rides and maybe a beach trip!

Now announcing... Farm Dog Daycare!

Morel needs some friends to play with during the day and I've got about 4 acres of space for dogs to run and play in while I clean stalls and do chores! Drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up worn out and happy after work.

I'm only taking on two dogs per day right now and the dogs will need to be kenneled while I ride or teach lessons. They'll need to get along well with dogs and people, respect fences, have decent recall, and be kennel trained. Let me know if you're interested!

*update- they have all found a lovely home together!

My landlord is looking to rehome one kunekune pig and two goats. I don't know much about them, except that they are literally the sweetest animals ever, especially the pig. The pig would love nothing more than to follow you around all day for scratches, snacks, and cuddles. I am helping him find them a new home, so please reach out if you are interested and I can give you what info I have and connect you with my landlord!

We are looking for homes that will love them as pets. They do not all have to go to the same place, but we would prefer the goats stay together. I would LOVE to see the pig get some pig friends, though he is not yet castrated (my landlord may be willing to have him castrated prior to moving to his new home).

March marks the first anniversary of living in this beautiful place! I can't believe how time flies. It feels like just yesterday that we brought Robin and Bruno out to the big pasture for the first time. In the last year, we've seen 20 horses come through the barn doors, this video shows just a small handful. I'm forever grateful for this barn and all the opportunities it provides! These horses all hold major piece of my heart ❤️

As my lesson program is growing, I'm looking to add a school horse to the barn! Ideally, I'd like to find a care lease situation. Do you or someone you know have a gentle, riding horse that you aren't currently using? Maybe you want to ease up on your barn chores/feed bills but don't want to sell your good horse? Let me know!

This horse would be ridden in lessons 5 days per week closely supervised by me and exclusively following the horsemanship philosophies I adhere to. I'm totally ok with doing a little refresh if the horse has been out of work for a bit, so long as they are gentle and have a history of being an easy going riding horse.

The Saturday classes are rockin' it!

It's been so fun to come together to work on our horsemanship these last couple weeks. Safe to say these classes aren't going anywhere.
