Are you interested in owning a horse, but don't know where to start or don't feel like you have enough information/support? I'm here to help!

My barn in Hillsboro, OR has openings for board, and I offer a program specifically designed for first time horse owners. It can be hard to find good information out there and there's a steep learning curve to horse ownership. Come board with me and we can walk through the process together!

For $900 per month, I'll take care of your horse and provide it the highest quality hay and supplements, help you make decisions for health and safety purposes, and teach you one lesson per week on your horse. The horsemanship that I study and teach focuses on balance and communication and it is, hands down, the best way to learn to ride or even hone your skills.

Don't have a horse yet? I'll help you find the right one for you! It's a madhouse out there and I can't tell you how times I've heard people getting taken advantage of when it comes to buying a horse. Having someone in your corner can be invaluable. My hourly rate is $55 and I'd be happy to horse hunt for you and go with your when looking at a horse. I'll even ride it first for you so you don't need to risk yourself or feel unconfident in the process.

I would love to answer any and all questions! I have a lifetime of experience and learning the hard way, I'd love to make this process easy on you!

Robin and I had an incredible time learning from Buck Brannaman at his Eugene clinic this past weekend! This clinic not only was great for Robin, but I brought back a ton of information to share with other horses and students. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an unbelievably skilled horseman!

Are you interested in learning and growing with your horse in a supportive and focused, but not stressful, environment? Come join our community and study the horsemanship created and led by Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman in pursuit of the bridle horse.

I offer full care board at my beautiful facility in Hillsboro, plus one lesson per week for $850 per month. There are options for more lessons per week and/or training rides for an additional, similarly discounted rate.

We go to clinics, haul out to trails, obstacle courses, to the beach, you name it! There are also options to ride around our quiet neighborhood.

All the boarding amenities you'd look for included as well! High quality 2nd cutting timothy and alfalfa, 12x12 stalls, large year round turnout, covered arena and round pen.

Are you on a wait list for your c**t starter? Use the wait to your advantage!

I offer groundwork/riding prep for any age/breed/style for just $1100 per month. This includes full care board, 2nd cutting timothy and alfalfa, pasture turnout with other young horses, and 5 days a week of groundwork and saddling work. Your horse will come away completely ready to start, saving your c**t starter tedious groundwork time. This way you can get to riding your horse sooner despite the wait list at the trainer.

Your horse will be prepared to stand calmly for the farrier, load easily into a trailer, stand tied patiently, feel confident wearing a saddle and being saddled, and understand pressure.
