Just a pup watching the birds outside! Buddy is a 6 mos old lab mix who loves other dogs and is curious about what cats actually are lol. He is gaining trust everyday. Sadly he was growing up in the shelter and didn’t have much interaction with people. He is quickly learning that people are good and they even give treats!

Kringle says good morning on this sunny Sunday! He is the brother of Buddy, who is also a six month old lab mix. He is currently fostered with two other dogs and is loving exploring life outside of the shelter while waiting for his family to find him.

Good Morning from Buddy! This sweet boy had a great first night in the crate and woke up ready to start his day! He is a 6 mos old lab mix who only knew life in a shelter….until now! Now he is learning what toys are, treats are yummy things humans give me, dog beds are SO comfy and people aren’t so scary! Buddy loves the company of another dog and likes to play! He ignores the cats bc I think he doesn’t know what to make of them yet! Haha. This sweet boy is excited to find his happy ending!

Peppa arrived in NY this morning and is already settling in like she belongs here 🥹

She’s maybe around 2 years old (rescue math keeps us guessing), about 30 lbs, and a bit underweight right now, which means lots of extra treats, good meals, and love are on the agenda. She’s still decompressing, but so far she’s enjoying her foster home and spending time with the other dogs.

Peppa found herself at Lee County Shelter back in August, and from the moment she arrived, we truly thought it wouldn’t be long before someone saw her and took her home. That day just didn’t come. You could see in her eyes how badly she wanted to be chosen. Thankfully, a kind human stepped in, got Peppa out, and found her a place with Take Me Home Rescue.

Peppa girl is so incredibly worthy of love. She deserves a family who will hold her close, sit with her in the sun, and remind her every day that she is safe, wanted, and home. 🐾
