We are small but we are growing. We do a lot to save animals while working full time jobs.

Every small positive change each person makes multiplied by all the good people in the world creates a beautiful place for every living being.

Sadly it was not the Merry Christmas that Chelsea was hoping for. We were really hoping a family would step up for her! So we are holding out hope that it will be her Happy New Year instead!!!

Chelsea has been in foster care since August. She lives in one large room. She has food, water, toys and we love her dearly. But this cat has spent the last 4 months watching kittens come in for a couple weeks, get adopted and leave. Chelsea deserves so much more than we are providing!

She’s a wonderful cat. Playful, quiet, loving. She’s spending too much time without her own family. Lots of people have asked about her adoption fee, TONS of views on Petfinder. But not one applicant for this sweet girl.

So who is going to make this an incredible New Year for this sweet girl?

Not all of our rescued kitties are jumping for joy to be loved on. It’s not their fault though. Behind every feral, shy, frightened, untrusting animal is a human who caused the problem!!

Mary Jane is not unfriendly, aggressive or undeserving of a loving home. She’s literally a victim of circumstance ♥️.

Some of our kitties require a special person or family willing to be patient. Are you that person? Could your family give Mary Jane the loving home she needs?

This is the perfect Christmas Eve. I’m sitting on the sofa with a warm blanket and one of my foster kittens sleeping on my arm. Seeing this sweet content sleeping baby is a reminder of why all of our volunteers work so hard. These are the moments we work for. Most days rescue is not peaceful and perfect. When we have a day with our babies and it’s all going well we can relax for a moment and know why we keep going.

Chickenleg Callie is worried.
I know, she doesn’t look worried. She looks frantic! She is stressing over the lack of funds for Christmas spay/neuters. Santa can’t bring any new spay/neuters for all good kittens if there is no money. The link to our website is in the comments.

Sweet Annie is an affectionate and calm kitty who is still looking for her forever, inside only home! She loves to sit on your lap and will even let you pick her up to hold. She is an avid bird watcher and absolutely loves watching the birds from the window. Annie is one and a half years old and has already been spayed and vaccinated.
