🚨FOUND DOG ALERT🚨

This dog was "found" on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, around 5:30 PM in the area of West Henrietta Road and Lehigh Station Road. There are no tags, collar, or microchip, just a rope tied around the neck.

We have reason to believe that the person who "found" the dog may actually be the owner and has made misleading claims about "finding" the dog, as we previously informed them that we do not take in owner surrenders.

The dog is currently in good hands and will be properly cared for regardless of his circumstances, we are just looking for any information about the situation.

If you know the owner, please contact us at 585-359-7009. If this is in fact a missing dog and you would like to claim it, proof of ownership is required, along with a valid dog license and an up-to-date rabies certificate.

Having a pet go missing is every pet parent’s worst nightmare, but there are simple steps you can take to help prevent it.

Here are some top tips for keeping your furry friend safe:
🐾 Spay/neuter your pet to reduce roaming (check out lollypop.org/snip for resources).
🐾 Always keep a collar and ID tag on your pet—yes, even indoor kitties!
🐾 Microchip your pet (and keep your info updated!).
🐾 Check fences, windows, and doors for escape routes—especially around the 4th of July and other busy holiday weekends.
🐾 Teach your dog to come when called.
🐾 Travel safely with secure carriers.
🐾 Keep current photos of your pets and vet records handy.

💬 If your pet ever goes missing:
Help is just a text away! Text “LPFLost” to (844) LPF-LOST for easy, step-by-step instructions from Lost2Found, Lollypop Farm’s free texting service to help reunite pets with their families.

❤️ Together, we can help keep pets safe at home where they belong.

Instead of saying, "My dog doesn't bite," consider using the phrase, "My dog has not bitten anyone YET" (if that is true😉).
At the end of the day, dogs are animals and even the friendliest dogs can react unexpectedly.

Let’s ensure a safe and happy Halloween for everyone, including our furry friends!
