Green Heritage Nursery isn’t just your ordinary nursery; it’s the area’s newest hub for gardening enthusiasts and landscape artists, offering a diverse range of plants and landscape materials. Additionally, their on-site boutique features an array of items from local vendors, creating a vibrant community-focused atmosphere.

During the yoga session, you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with nature and practice your yoga poses in a serene setting. The garden’s tranquil environment provides an ideal backdrop for both meditation and physical exercise, helping to enhance your yoga experience by integrating the soothing elements of nature.

This is a donation-based class with all proceeds go directly to Sage Sanctuary, a devoted non-profit that provides a nurturing haven for animals in need. Oyster mushrooms!!!!! I am so excited to have just discovered this flush on one of the logs from earlier this year! Many attempts have been made in past years to inoculate mushroom logs, and this is the first one that’s been a success 😊

With hurricane Milton looming in the gulf, this weekend has been spent in preparation. There's no telling how much wind and rain we'll get here exactly, but the dog's tent is down, the chicken run tarps are off, and the piggies are all snuggled up ready to hunker down. The pigs stay safe under the deck and everyone else will be inside for the worst of the storm. We expect to lose electricity for an unknown amout of time as we did during hurricane Helene two weeks ago. If you would like to fill a gas can for the generator or help cover the cost of stocking additional food for the animals, every dollar helps! Huge thanks to our amazing neighbors for letting us use their generator for Helene recently and again now 💓

Roosters are one of the most misunderstood and abused animals on earth. They are also one of the hardest animals for shelters to adopt out, if they even make it that far since most are euthanized on intake or often ignored completely by animal control.

Each rooster is an individual with his own unique personality, likes and dislikes. They are the most selfless animal species on the planet, often giving up their lives to protect their families. They can be kept inside as house roosters, live in a flock with hens, or in a bachelor flock with other roosters. They are emotional beings who are courageous, beautiful and deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion ❤️
