Sun Kiva has been helping families in need for their pets since 2006. We have helped with food, vet care and just boarding until a family can get back on their feet. We will do everything possible to help pets stay with their family during hard times.

WE FEED THOSE IN NEED 🐾

Thanks to a generous donation from Louise Kuttler (Sun Kiva Pet Resort) we are able to feed 30 more pet families this week. Not only did she donate and share (sharing is caring) but she was willing to match pet food donations that her circle ⭕️ donated.

Thanks to her support over 100 local dogs will not have to worry about having a “next” meal. Full bellies always equal a full heart ❤️

We certainly can’t do “this” alone. “This” being keeping pets and people together, by providing local pet resources. Feeding and fixing local pets in need is a great way to reduce the strain on local shelters and fellow rescues. When pets are with loving owners - - - that is where they need to stay.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. If you know your holiday plans and would like to use our pickup and delivery service call as soon as possible because space is filling up as we can only fit so many animals in the car at a time.

This year’s Thanksgivings dinner for the dogs will be:

Real turkey
Homemade cornbread stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Green beans

A special dog friendly dessert made by our 14 and 11 year old cousins.

The cats will get:

Shredded real turkey and a special homemade cat friendly dessert made by the 14 and 11 year old cousins.

Due to the rising of COVID-19 cases Sun Kiva will not be offering tours of the facility at this moment. You are more then welcome to come meet us and talk in person but we can’t allow anyone into the kennel area to view the facilities.
