Who wants a dynamic duo to brighten their home and warm their laps!? Jinxy (3 year old void) and Bluejay (6 month old) are thick as thieves! Both are very sociable and wonderful with cats. Jinxy in particular is an excellent lap warmer when you’re watching tv 📺!

These boys need homes- we’re sure they’d love to go together but they are also very social and will do well in any home with other playful cats! Jinxys only special request is no fidos at home. Bluejay would surely adapt to a cat friendly dog.

We have these two new intakes coming tomorrow. We will need both financial support for their vetting and foster homes! We also have some great new cats ready for adoption now.

Who likes one eyed voids!? Velvet was a friendly stray with no microchip or owner, struggling to find food when he was taken in by a Good Samaritan who feeds local colony cats. This sweet guy is on the younger side, good with other cats. He had a full mouth dental due to his teeth being in such rough shape from living on trash.

Velvet will be looking for a foster or adopter, interested? Email us at [email protected] or fill out the inquiry forms at www.oarcats.org

Noel powered through almost three days of hospitalization and is finally feeling better! We are cautiously optimistic that his treatment for neuro FIP will help him stabilize and regain some motor function. Donate, Like and Share to help homeless cats like Noel recover from illnesses and injuries on their journey to find forever homes ♥️ ❤️ https://bit.ly/DonateToOARCats

Noel is feeling better little by little! He powered through almost three days of hospitalization and extensive testing. He is a fighter and a lover; we will post more updates showcasing his loving personality as he continues to heal. He’s not out of the woods yet and has a long way to go but we are cautiously optimistic now!

🚨 🚨 Noel is discharged from the ER!! 🚨 🚨
This sweet boy was septic within 32 hours of our care with a history of hind end weakness. Thankfully, he is out of the woods, though we need to continue antibiotics and repeat bloodwork to figure out the cause of his sepsis and if the weakness is related or preexisting. Please keep Noel in your thoughts! His ED visit alone cost $9,700 and we could really use your support! Even if everyone who sees this gives $5 or maybe a recurring $5/month, it would help the most vulnerable homeless cats to get the care they need before being adoptable!

While we anxiously await another day to see how Noel, our newest intake with hind end weakness makes out at the vet hospital, Charli the kitten is being cared for by Jinxy. Charli’s surgery for her liver shunt is tomorrow. Keep your fingers and paws crossed for our sweet kitten that she does well!

This is rescue. Community coming together to help foster, raise funds, getting veterinary care for cats in need. Meet Noel. His prognosis is guarded at this time however we think his life matters and deserving of a chance.

Cats like Noel are some of the few often euthanized at larger shelters. That’s what makes OAR Cats different. We save and give a fighting chance to each cat that wouldn’t have had one elsewhere.
