Violet an 8-year-old female

Violet is looking for a loving and experienced home to call her own. She lost her longtime cage mate a month ago and would love the opportunity to be part of a caring family where she can receive the companionship of other gliders and attention she deserves.

Don’t forget to check out this amazing auction that ends tonight at 8PM EST. All items were donated by 3 amazing vendors QT Critter Creations, Punky’s Playground & Little Shop of Suggie! As of now we are only 10$ shy of fully sponsoring Nemo’s dental work from this auction but we still have Dory to raise for as well! Can we get this amazing set 400$?? ⭐ Tonto’s Big Day ⭐

Tonto is a cryptorchid, which means that at least one testicle never fully descended and remains inside the body. In Tonto’s case, we actually discovered this months ago when his dropped testicle was removed and it became clear that the other one had never come down. Today Dr. Liz will be going in to take care of that remaining testicle. The location won’t be known until she gets in there, but this is a procedure she performs regularly and we have every confidence in her.

Dr. Liz Helton has been an absolute lifesaver for us this year. She works a full-time job and dedicates her spare time to helping rescues not only here in New England but all over the country. She actually went out of her way to drive over an hour to find us at an event just to offer her services because of her passion for rescues, and she performs these procedures after hours to help us keep costs down. She is an absolutely incredible human and we truly cannot say enough good things about her.

Here is Tonto enjoying a pre-surgery yoggie, completely unaware of what is ahead of him today. Poor little guy!

Once Tonto has healed up he will be reunited with his brothers Lone Ranger and Wasabi, and all three of them will be available for adoption. These boys are some of my absolute favorites and a few of the last remaining from our Ohio surrender over the winter. They are incredibly sweet, playful, and full of personality. In about a month these three could be starting the next chapter of their lives in their forever home. Could that be with you? 🤍

We are in need of someone with a pickup truck who is willing to help us transport a small kitchen island from Epping, New Hampshire to Haverhill, Massachusetts. The person we are picking it up from is retired so there is a lot of flexibility on timing and we can work around whatever works best for you!

💸 $5 Friday 💸

Things have been really tough around here lately and we are not going to sugarcoat it. Donations have slowed down significantly and with so many of our gliders facing serious medical needs right now, most of them are not yet healthy enough to be adopted out. That means we have very little coming in while our expenses continue to climb. It is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel some days, but we are pushing forward because these animals are counting on us.

With over 20,000 followers, even just $1 from each of you would dramatically change where things are headed right now. $5 would be even better. Every single dollar adds up faster than you think and right now we really need it to.

Hey Sugar Haven Family!

The next dental fundraiser is starting now and we couldn’t be more excited!

Right now, we are up again to 26 gliders in our care needing dental work, with the majority coming from the large Florida case. Each procedure costs around $300 to $400, so this is a big goal, but one we know we can reach together.

This amazing set will help sponsor the dental care for Nemo and Dory, two sweet gliders from our large Florida intake currently staying at our main location in MA. Both little ones need dental extractions before they can begin the next chapter of their journey- finding a loving forever home together once medically cleared.
Nemo may be a tripod, but you’d never know it from the way he plays, climbs, and keeps up with everyone else. His missing leg certainly doesn’t slow him down one bit! 💙

Every bit of support makes a difference, and we are so grateful for this amazing community!
