After filling the water troughs, Pete got a little morning cool-down in hopes that it would prevent him from playing in them… Like, dude, we literally have a whole pond for y’all to play in! 😂 Go splash around somewhere else!

Fact about Betty’s tail that you may not know- her tail is docked- not cut, but literally docked. Short tails are common for drafts but docked is- in my opinion- inhumane!!!! She has no way to “swish” those nasty horse flies off, so Amelia made her a tail. ♥️🥹

And…those scars are burn marks. 😡🤬😡

She may have been through hell before her move to FL but she’s now surrounded by people who will love her, protect her, and make sure she never knows that kind of life again!

He’s our kill pen baby! A friend of ours rescued him and now he gets to call our rescue home. ♥️

And don’t let the name fool you… Trouble is a BIG baby! 😂 He’s sweet, loving, and just an all-around good boy. And he gives kisses!

Trouble is currently available for an ON-SITE lease!

Today’s adventure was me vs. a 30x30 tarp and a little breeze 😂 thank God for a little back up from our man child Colin!

Reno and Clyde assisted with some moral support and cleaned up the little bit of alfalfa left in the bed of the Gator. Not pictured- the donkey stealing my bag of zip ties and running away with them while shaking the bag and dropping every single one- it was a new bag of 1000 🙃🤣

Here’s to the tarp staying up and to Jack the donkey NOT destroying it again! 🫏 🤞🏼🤣

If you don’t remember Reno and Clyde are our lifers ♥️ they’re two 🫛 in a pod. They’re been together for 20 plus years.

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Sally post! 🥰❤️

Sally is doing GREAT! She’s gained alotttt of her weight back, and now it’s about time to start slowly building that muscle back up! 💪🏼🐴 Zoom in on her hooves and you can see the old injuries/infection growing out! Love that for her!!!! Magnawave bi weekly and lots of natural remedies ♥️

We’re 6 months into her recovery, and things are moving slowly—and they’ll continue to move slowly until she’s fully healed. We’re not rushing this girl! ❤️

She’s an absolute DOLL, sassy as hell 😂, and now Betty’s new pasture mate! ♥️🐴

We are in major need of some help with balancer and forage feed (Pictures are below). And as always HAY! Coastal and/or alfalfa. We’re currently going through a bag of Unbeetable every 1.5 days—that’s a LOT of feed! 😳

And, as I mentioned yesterday, the farrier will be out next week. That’s going to be about a $400 day to get everyone’s trims done. 🐴🧡

I know it’s starting to sound repetitive, and trust me, I hate asking over and over again. But keeping these horses healthy and getting them back to where they need to be takes a village. Moved some horses around today after the pasture got dragged to give Miss Betty and Sally a little extra room to let loose! 🐴❤️

The boys headed to the back, and the girls got moved into Gen Pop! 😂 Everyone seems pretty happy with their new temporary arrangements! 🥰🐴

Betty is back up for MagnaWave tomorrow, and the farrier will be out next week! This time around, it’s going to be a little more than what we’re used to because Miss Betty’s has a whole lot of hoof!
