Time for another spotlight!

Champ hails from Indiana, and is enjoying his first season as a Kid’s Program Wrangler!

Champ’s favorite element about his job is his coworkers, for their kindness, and their ability to help out anyone at anytime. He said, “it’s a culture of just being happy and having fun—it’s contagious.”

When asked what drew him to RHMR, he said, “I wanted to do something new—something fun, something I had never done before. And just overall try new things”. And that perfectly sums up the ranch experience!

Champ said one of his favorite things to do is take the drive from the ranch into Coeur d’Alene with friends. There, he said you’ll find not only spectacular views along the way, but great conversations and time to connect.

At the end of the day, Champ can always be relied on to bring the good vibes and the kind-hearted spirit to everything he does. We’re so happy to have you this summer, Champ!

It’s spotlight time!

Say hello to Emily from Cincinnati, Ohio. She’s experiencing her very first season on Red Horse Mountain Ranch in the hospitality department.

She was originally drawn to work here because she wanted a place to get away from the regular hustle and bustle and feel connected with nature—and with people! She loves to go horseback riding and taking dips in the pond on our hot summer day.

Her favorite horse? She said, “Jasper, my homie, my boy. I know he’ll always take care of me.” (Jasper is a gentleman like that!)

When asked what she enjoys most about her role on the ranch, she said she loves taking care of guests and making sure everyone has the most peaceful stay possible! “It’s all about the team constantly engaging with the guests and making them feel at home!”

We love having your energy, warmth, and can-do-attitude on the ranch with us, Emily!

It’s Ady’s turn in the spotlight!

Ady is enjoying her very first season as a Red Horse Mountain Ranch Wrangler. She is a born and raised Idaho resident and proud of it.

Ady has been a horse girl since she was little and her love for them has been an integral part of her life since; she even did a few years competing in barrel racing.

When asked what her favorite part of her job is, she said it was meeting different people and getting to know them on genuine levels while leading their horseback rides. Idaho is her favorite place in the world, and she loves to share her love for the nature and wildlife with everyone.

Her favorite memory thus far is taking guests up to the top of Overlook on horseback and watching memories be made as they looked out at the scenic view.

Ady’s goal this summer is to spend more time with friends at the pond and ride horses even more.

We’re so happy to have her with us this year. Thank you for bringing your energy and your love for Idaho to the team, Ady!

Staff Spotlights are back! And we’re kicking things off with the awesome Grace.

Grace hails from Colorado and is spending her first season at Red Horse Mountain Ranch as part of the kitchen crew. She helps prepare and serve incredible meals for both guests and staff every day. She came to Red Horse looking to grow her culinary skills while enjoying the great outdoors, and she’s doing exactly that.

Her favorite horse? Oakley. Known for her snack obsession, she steals food (and hearts) every chance she gets, and Grace loves her for it.

When asked about her favorite memory so far, Grace didn’t hesitate: just a few days ago, she jumped into the river fully clothed with her ranch crew! A classic RHMR moment.
