Yesterday was Mae’s last day of training and Fin and his owner came over to say goodbye. Mae did very well and I have no doubt she will continue to be great. Her owners are very dedicated.

Mae finishes her two-week Day Training tomorrow. This morning we worked on the off-leash heel with a down and then back into a heel with a touch of the hand to get her in the proper spot.

This squirrel got within 20 feet of us, I didn’t get it at its closest point because I had to move so slowly to get the phone. Mae’s prey drive was controlled with her training. What she really wanted was for me to give her a free command. 😂😂

Working on an off-leash “place” and hold when I go out of sight and even into the house.

Jenn assisted me this morning with Mae’s training. When people say that sending my dog away for training is useless because they’ll listen to you but not me, (wrong) Jenn has spent minimal time with Mae and hasn’t worked with her. When you follow the advice (voice tones, body language, and most importantly consistency with training) you’ll get the same result. Battlefield Cane Corso

Mae is such a good walking partner. I especially like how she checks in with me without even giving a command. All kinds of distractions (deer, squirrels, and rabbits) this morning.
