This is Mercy’s second day and after doing minimal training on day one I wanted to get an idea of what she knows. Mercy did very well. The only change that I made is that I switched her collar to a pinch collar because she had a tendency to pull with the one that the owner had her on. Battlefield Cane Corso

Mercy’s only been here for a few hours and she’s already starting to feel like she’s at home. She just got a bath and she’s enjoying the hairdryer. However, I think she’s enjoying the cuddle time now that she’s clean. Battlefield Cane Corso

No I’m not training Mercy to be a circus dog and walk a tightrope but I am working on building her confidence. Before I started videoing she refused to walk on the narrow wall. Only after a few reps you can see her confidence improve. Battlefield Cane Corso

Here’s a perfect example of why I use a Dremel when doing dog’s nails. This dog’s nails weren’t to bad. However, if you use standard dog nail clippers there’s no way to do the underside of the nails which can lead to cracking. Last picture is after they were done. Battlefield Cane Corso

Mercy is an 8 month old, female,Cane Corso. She’s from Battlefield Cane Corso’s Christmas litter. She just got dropped off for her board and training so we’re spending some time bonding and just snuggling before we jump into training. Training videos will be posted daily of her progress. Day 3: Continued exposure to loud noises (fireworks). Also, now that I’m sure Sarge now’s what is being asked of him I’m introducing the Mini Educator E-Collar. For those that know me I don’t use the E-Collar as a pain compliance tool, most of the time you don’t even know when I’m giving a stimulation. Can anyone tell me when I used it in this video??
