Bender is back for a little tune-up before he goes on a cross-country adventure! 🧳🛣️ He’s developed some anxieties since he was last here and he’s doing a good job so far of getting back on track and learning how to cope with things he’s not so sure of (like feather boas, for example 😆). 🩵

Our last weekend with Willie was bittersweet. 🥹 We are going to miss this guy SO MUCH but we are excited for him to see his family tomorrow and show them all of the things he has learned! All the friends he has made along the way hope he’ll come to class sometimes to catch up! 🥰

Willie saw his pal Westley again this week and he was a huge help at lessons with new students Maggie and Henry. 💙 He makes friends wherever he goes and between his first group class and a visit with the crew at Valley Road Animal Hospital, he’s about worn out from his busy social calendar. 💤

Willie continues to be an A+ student even with the harder material he’s been given this week. 🤓📚📖 I’m taking him to busier places and trying to find ways to challenge him so that he will continue to gain more confidence and independence. Though I had the privelege of being able to be with him 24/7 over the last few days, we went out to dinner without him tonight and he was perfectly quiet and calm in his crate, even when we returned (where previously he would carry on until he was let out of his crate 😅).
