Starting our Memorial Day weekend off strong with tons of fun friends!!! We are so glad the sun showed its beautiful, bright face today and started to dry us out. Lots of playtime and sun tomorrow. Happy Memorial Day weekend friends!!!

Happy Mother’s Day to the human and dog moms out there today. And even the dads who stand as moms too, we don’t forget about you! This world wouldn’t survive without all of you. Trying to get a good group shot is so hard. Hahaha. We have had a packed weekend of friends. Great weather and good babies so we have had doors open and everyone is in and out all day. Come hang with us! Memorial Day is booked solid and July 4th is getting full. We are booking to Christmas so don’t wait!! Love these guys so much!!!

Know that when you board with us you are helping support us and our rescue. Our boarding visitors give us lots of emotional support and happy times just having fun and enjoying themselves while here with us. We do the best we can with the rescue but we wouldn’t be able to do any of it without you! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts !!!

Please be patient with us….we have had to take a few months of mental health time while still keeping up with our load. We are getting to emails and messages as fast as we can and doing everything we possibly can to help. We are getting more events together and on the calendar so stay tuned for events.

How can you help? Adopt! If not from us any rescue or shelter. Spay your girls! The less helpless puppies the better. Foster! Rescue dogs need time and affection to be good dogs. Giving your time to help a rescue dog learn simple manners helps them to be more adoptable and helps us be able to aid more animals in need. Donate! Advocate! Volunteer! With any shelter or rescue!

We are a very small rescue run by two amazing women who try and want to help everyone but we all have limits. If we can be nothing more than helpful advice and education or funding to help get dogs spayed, we do our best to make a difference. We currently have 16 rescue dogs in house, 26 total dogs on property plus livestock and felines that we care for daily.

We do our best and just hope that everyone understands how hard rescue is but we have a passion and a calling to do this for the animals and the community. We greatly appreciate all of the support!!! Hugs and hope to see u all soon.

Happy Shannon Farmz first day till now “gotcha Day” Kate Nash! You have been a part of our farm family since you were a pup in 2018 and your family has done nothing but get bigger and more amazing! We remember introducing you to rescue puppies trying to see who mom could sneak home and you were just not having a puppy in your life until brother Griffy came along. But flower, she wasn’t a puppy and you didn’t really have much of a choice as quick as she attached to your momma. Regardless of what fur siblings came after you Kate you are a Shannon Farmz OG! We got to watch you grow and become the most amazing, loving girl. We love you all so much and we will see you soon!!!

Attentive ball faces this morning! Kyva, brindle at right, is just waiting for me to throw the ball so he can have more love.

We don’t usually let dogs of such different sizes together like this but this meeting happened by chance one day in passing and it was best friends immediately. Zeppelin the Great Dane has been coming to see us for years. He is such a big gentle loving boy that loves small breeds. Samson, also a long time regular, is an older dachshund that love love loves friends but doesn’t quite know how to play. He’s more of a referee and one that stays off in the distance and talks smack like the usual dachshund would. Hahaha. Zepp doesn’t move very quickly so he’s relatively safe and Samson loves to stay close. Visitors sometimes meet the best, most unlikely friends here at the farm. The bonds made here are just so heart warming. We love our visitors so much, big and small!
