Another successful day of giving back! 🐾❤️

We’re happy to share highlights from a recent free veterinary wellness clinic in Tarentum, providing care for pets belonging to individuals experiencing homelessness.

This clinic was made possible through the continued partnership between Street Dog Coalition and Harmony Dog Rescue, alongside Dr. Brian Silvis (Pets In Harmony Veterinary Hospital) and Dr. Nikita Ahuja (Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital).

Thank you to the veterinary technicians who volunteered their time and helped keep everything running smoothly:

Your support helped make it possible to provide much-needed care and compassion to both pets and their owners.

It was a special day for our team getting to be part of a free veterinary wellness clinic in Homestead. 🐾

This clinic came together thanks to an amazing partnership between The Street Dog Coalition, Harmony Dog Rescue, our owner Dr. Brian Silvis, and Dr. Nikita Ahuja from our sister hospital, Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital. When groups in the community work together like this, it makes a real difference.

We also want to give a huge thank you to the veterinary technicians who volunteered their time and hearts to help care for these pets:

• Caitlin, Hailey, and Harleigh from Pets In Harmony Veterinary Hospital
• Elizabeth and Michelle from Allegheny North Veterinary Hospital

Because of their help, we were able to provide care, comfort, and support to pets who might not otherwise have access to veterinary services. Seeing how much these animals mean to their owners was a powerful reminder that the bond between people and their pets is truly unconditional. 🐶

The teams hope is to continue hosting clinics like this throughout the year and expand beyond Pittsburgh into Beaver and Butler counties so we can help even more pets and the people who love them.

Hard of hearing/ eye sight problems.

This sweet girl is Penelope, an 8-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a BIG personality and the cutest little legs to match! 💕

Penelope gets along well with both dogs and cats and loves being around people. 🐶🐱

Here are a few details about her:
✔️ Up to date on vaccinations
✔️ Not yet spayed
✔️ Still working on potty training
✔️ Currently eating a raw-based diet (including The Farmer’s Dog and Instinct freeze-dried raw)
✔️ Paperwork available

Penelope is looking for a loving, committed home that can match her energy and continue her training. As always, we encourage anyone interested to carefully consider the responsibility of pet ownership and ensure they’re ready for the lifelong commitment a puppy brings.
